Back on the road! After over 4 months of sitting under a car cover I took it out today. I missed driving it so much, I went to an exhaust shop to get my cat deleted. Car drives nice but definitely needs an alignment.
My ramps collapsed under my car right as I was walking into the other room to get the stuff to change my control arms:/ bent my metal valence thing so front end is off and I get a garage spot for a few days...
So I got my valence on, then got the garage liner to protect it, went for a drive to the airport diner and smashed my skid plate and exhaust on the ground so loud cars behind me herd the car hit. No damage other than a bent skid plate. Later that night a dead animal is in the middle of the road just over a crest and I had no time to react so I hit it and ripped part of the liner off, covered my skid plate in blood and had a nice old barbecue on my exhaust, pictures of the car and hopefully I get it cleaned up so it doesn't reek tomorrow afternoon. :/
I have to finish polishing the spokes, and clear the wood and spokes. Wood is now stained walnut to match my BMW shift knob and aluminum ring is staying and it will be kept plain without stripes. Should be done before Turn Up The Heat Saturday at AJW Performance in Bow, NH
Also did my control arms today and the car feels much so much better!
