3 door would be cool but I like my station wagon. Lol

I have a 2 door project coming together in the garage.

Upgraded to stop rubbing. My old 6k rate rear springs were not stiff enough and my wheel was chewing pieces out of my fender flare on bumps.

I will lower it a bit more and mess with the rear wheel fitment this weekend. Didn't feel like doing it today before I see how she drives with the new setup.

It's fail wheel drive but I had to go back to my roots. 1994 Mazda Mx-6 LS v6 with a .63 trim turbo KLDE motor. Power goals are a modest 300whp at around 8psi. Currently working on getting her running nicer since she sat for 4 years or so before I picked her up and starter working on her.

Plans include getting her running right, dialing in the suspension to a moderately low but still completely functional height, and eventually wrapping the whole car in matte white vinyl. The paint is shot and it's not worth the money to get body work done. It will just be easier to wrap the whole thing since it's a project/beater/race car anyway. Also going to most likely strip out the interior and get a roll bar put in.

Interesting, I don't really see those modded at all

Yeah aftermarket support is nonexistent so everything is grassroots style. I like it because it's not mainstream and nobody knows what it is or what it is capable of. If I can get the weight trimmed down a bit and meet my horsepower goal it should give a lot of more powerful cars a nice view of the tail lights. The previous owner made 260whp on a smaller super60 turbo, smaller hot pipes, and 7psi. He ran high 12s in the 1/4 all day long without stripping any weight off the car. Not planning on drag racing the car I'd prefer track days and spirited drives on the highway.

It should be an interesting build. I can't wait to see what you do with it, maybe some new wheels? I think RPF1s with some meaty tires would look good with an aggressive drop

Can't go too slammed. The turbo pipes hang low so I will have to stay at functional ride height. As far as wheels I already have the ones on the car in that shot and a set of 16x7.5 Kosei K1s that need new tires. Not ready for another set of wheels just yet. I'll link a build thread here once she starts looking better and running nicely.

Nice to see a modded KLDE instead of the KLZE.. stick with what you have haha

DE is much easier to turbo than a ZE anyway. Power delivery will be about the same with either motor when everything is dialed in.

Yeah, the KLZE is a good N/A build swap
