Obligatory first-test-fit pictures. This might be surprisingly easy to fit. Keep in mind I am at "zero" camber according to my driveway alignment.

225 on the right 275 on the left.

Don't worry man I do plan on building some ridiculous 3 piece 18s. I just couldn't pass up a trade for nice wheels when I couldn't sell the eurolines.

I don't know if anyone watches this anymore but today was a productive day.

Changed the oil and swapped to a bigger filter. More oil volume and better filtration FTW!

Installed a GtSpec front stb I got from a friend. The front end seems to turn in more crisp than before and it matches my rear trunk cage perfectly.

And I also got a raven style wing from the same guy who sold me the stb. I think this thing is going to look really great once the fitment is fixed some and there is paint on it.

I love 3's and yours is cool with the arches and colour. However, I preferred it on the polished wheels and think the 19's are too big and don't suit it imo (sorry)

Haha you're not going to offend me man. I will make them work. I've been on 3 sets of 19s (including the polished wheels) and I like them.

I do, however, plan on going with 18s if I get 3 piece wheels anytime soon. More tire size options and more ability to go low. 19s limit the ride height signifigantly since you can't get smaller sidewalls as easily.

really nice car! it's good to see that anybody built Mazda 3.

But i want to ask about that FRAM oil filter - is this stuff really works or is this filter as Valvoline 10w-60 motor oil for daily driver? Is it really works or works when u go in for race?

Thanks! I've put a lot of time and money into it and there seems to always be something new to play with and try out. I am happy with the results.

I don't know exactly what you mean but Fram is not the best oil filter out there. There are definitely better filters but I feel like the quality is okay for my non-turbo mazda3 and the larger volume compared to the original filter will help to get the oil filtered better while also giving me more capacity for better oil life and even very slightly better cooling because of the volume gained.

Yeah there's not going back now though and my rear quarters were splitting from making contact with the wheel. The flares are a new adventure. LOL

do something to hide the bolt-on look on those overfenders they look atrocious. fill and sand and then paint or anything to make it a smooth look.

really nice car otherwise, big fan of mazda3 hatches.

Opinions. I like the bolted look. It I want molded flares I will go sheetmetal.

Mounted the Advan Model 5s (19x10 +19) up on the front today but I am not sure if I will be keeping them or not. If I do I will be using some spare tires in my garage instead of the 275/30/19 ones on there now. I can drive it but this is as low as the car can go and it rubs all kinds of new places now. Not worth it since I am not going to use the width anyway.

Nooo, keep the Advans. Put a 255 on there it'll work. Also fully polish the wheels, you'll deff want to keep them.

I think a BBK would make the wheels look more attractive since the brake/rotor area is more exposed due to the split 5 spoke design.
