finally finals are over and i can put my focus on my car again!!!
    interior updates:
40$ deals!!!i believe it was an f1spec full carbon bucket.minor scratches and memory foam glued on. Cant go wrong for 40$

BUT ofcourse this bucket would not look correct in a old car..well it wouldnt match with how it stands now.maybe it will when i rebuild my other rims and get a more agressive stance and motor...but for now i cant have a full bucket....low back time!
well this is my dream seat..Bride Histrix(discontinued, fcking baller, and rare)

soo i decided to make my own lowback and add a headrest for future safety reasons if i install a roll bar..

and to make it a little different i decided to cover the center with aloha print..oh and padding was donated from a toyota gts seat and headrest from a honda prelude seat.custom mounting bracket and custom seat mounts and rail adapters.

sorry dont have a pic of it in car.ill take one tomorrow.but heres a before shot with my old personal wheel and my new moon eyes knob

I'd wear shoes, a long sleeve and pants while welding, other than that, cool build, wish to see it ready.

Oh my goodness! I would never have the guts to do what you did to the seat, but man, it came out perfectly! Totally nailed the old look you were going for.

Nothing wrong with welding in sandals and shorts, just don't cry from the sunburns and spatter on your skin.

It's got potential. How come the finish on the seat doesn't look smooth?

I built a '67 912 and had a similar issue with the gauges. I didn't like how the LEDs didn't light up the whole gauge face. I chose to disassemble each one and install EL wire around the inside of the face to provide nice even lighting.

I know it looks blue in the pic, but it was just the camera. Sorry for the blurriness. Hard to take pics in the dark.

i think thats from the finishing resin. i was kind of in a rush to apply it so it could dry in time so i could go to work

damn those are beautiful!!! no way i could fit them without cutting my car up. im still on the fence about welding in some flares. it would look fucking bad ass and i could run some really wide wheels but it would also cut down the value of my car. But its not like my body is in perfect shape either. idk we'll see when the time comes.. but heres a pic of what i have in my room waiting to be rebarreled 15x10.5 and 15.8 both with 5" inner barrels
