Harro harro all.
Been on stanceworks for a fair while now, and had two build threads going with two different vw golf MK1's. I just finished grade 12 just last year and managed to secure a full time job in real estate which meant i needed a reliable daily. At first i didnt think of selling any of my cars, but after getting in too much trouble with the police and enough frustration with the common problems with my mk1 over the past 5 years, i decided to sell one of my mk1's to fund a new daily. What better reliable daily than an EG right?
Anyway enough crap, i bought the EG just over a month now, and found it for an absolute bargain. Car was great, everything was fine and working accept for 2nd gear and the usual dints and scratches to paint. Didnt really bother me, i bought it so damn cheap that it justified itself. So the plan was just to have it as a daily, but god damnit hondas have a after market part for fucking just about everything - i couldnt help but buy a few things hahaha and so it began. A slammed daily in the works.
For anyone who is interested, and just to get some credit for myself haha this was my mk1 that i just sold. Dont mean to be up myself, but was one of the most well known golfs in australia i think. Anywho here it is

So enough of that now, heres the eg when i bought it

Now normally i dont rush out like all the hip and happening kids to buy things. I only really buy shit if its going for a damn good price and i happen to stumble on it. The following week must have just been a damn good week haha. Had some spare cash from the sale, and stumbled on some Buddy Club N+ coils, full brake upgrade from integra VTIR (not sure what us name is gsr?) Type R LCA'S and my old varex exhaust which closes and opens when i see popo around. Also found some daaaamn cheap RS' that i just couldnt resist. I already have a set but was too cheap to pass by haha. Heres some pics

So thanks to darren maslo brandon etc who helped out with shit. After all the work we were pretty puffed out, so we thought a quick stop at 7/11 with a bucket would be an epic idea bahahahaha.

Anyway so the latest update was that a week ago a few cars infront of me slammed on the brakes and it was too late for me to react and i hit the car infront of myself. Shit thing is i only just bought the car and was too caught up with work to get insurance (not mandatory in aus). So i gotta fork out a sum of cash to fix her car and my car. Mine is an easy fix with having to pull out the radiator support out and new panels. Started pulling off everything at a mates house to asses the damage and just decided to slap the eg to the floor. Also check out my mates 180sx rb25 drift pig conversion should be epic.

So thats it for now. Owned the car for a month. I just bought a B18C2 (C1 us) and will be throwing that in after i pay my friend off haha. Also im a fitment guy so bigger lips and camber is a must, just need to sell some god damn houses first lol.
Btw i have the need to mention everything i do this car, or my complete ground up restoration on my MK1 is all done by myself and everything is DIY. Im only 19 and take alot of pride in doing things myself. Thats it really guys thanks for reading, hopefully more updates soon. Stanceworks australia represent bruuuhhhhz
