Awful initial setup.... It was running on the stock ECU and a broken Flyin' Miata VooDoo Box...

Then I got smart and built a MegaSquirt DIY PnP

The car loved the boost but ***** the summer heat and the excess hot oil flowing through the turbo, so I installed an oil cooler and GodSpeed Project aluminum radiator. Muuuuuuccchhhhhh better...

Yeaahhhhh.... No good shots, but shortly after this was taken I added a turbo blanket. whew.

Cobra seat!

Test-fitting a friends Keskin KT-1's out of boredom...

More boredom resulted in some missing interior trim...

Then I decided I would buy these wheels, because no one had put them on a Miata and it was sure to make people angry. Hehehe

Oh yes... test fitment...

Impractical cars FTW!

STRREETTCHHHH 205's on a 9.5

"eff these studs!"

Done!

And this is where she sits today, about 6 months later. School has consumed my time for now, but little things are still being added here and there, so watch for updates!

Time went by with no changes to the car. Then around XMAS I got a front lip. Yeah buddy!

Miata ate a dirt clod...

Winter mode happened...

Then things got interesting... traded the wheels for some go fast goodies...

New clutch...

Test fitting...

Go time...

Hey everyone, I'm Ian and this is my '93 Mazda Miata. It is always a work in progress, and I am never satisfied with anything related to it for very long. With that being said, here is where it has been and where it is today.
I bought it in January of 2011(? I don't remember) Bone-stock, with a factory hard top (score!)
Quickly added a set of coilovers, Jackson Racing header and catback, test pipe, intake, EBC RedStuff brake pads, stainless lines, and a set of Sparco Racing 15x7.5 wheels.
Stock:

Let the work begin...

Spring came, and a friend of mine wanted to shoot my car, so I got to work compounding and waxing the bejeesus out of it's nasty-ass paint..

Autocross

Relocating the engine bay fuse box to the passenger compartment

results...
