    Still on stock internals, but I have a ported head chilling on my coffee table and plans in the works down the road for forged internals.

    I tapped the oil pan on the car. It was really easy to do with the car on a lift, and Flyin Miata has a technical write up on how to do it without getting any shavings stuck in the pan or anywhere else. Just remember; measure twice, drill once. I have not had it on a dyno yet, but I will try to get it strapped down come spring time after I upgrade the fuel system and the rear end. Charts will be posted. Lol
    yeah still deciding what to do with my rotas for the winter, hit a brick in the road the other night and chunked the front left baaaad

    oh ok cool, im planning on picking up a parts car becuase i need new front panels so hopefully ill rebuild the motor etc and drop it all in to save hassle

    cheers for the help mate

    cheers for the info man, you still running stock pistons? and with the oil feed return from the turbo, did you tap/drill the sump? read somewhere that was the best routing for it. im a complete novice with turbos so if that makes no sense just ignore me aha

    EDIT: forgot to ask, you had it on a dyno? love to see some power graphs for this

    Anyway, turbo parts are;
    Turbonetics t3/t04 54trim upgraded/ported to a 60mm turbine wheel, IWG
    eBay cast iron 1.6l t3 manifold
    Downpipe is DIY with steel from Summit Racing and flanges, turbo blanket, and gaskets from treadstone performance.com
    Universal "stealth" FMIC setup

    Still on stock fuel system for now, and its handling 10psi like a champ with solid AFRs. Upgrading to a Flyin Miata fuel system (fuel rail, injectors, pump)

    Things you will also need:
    Bigger radiator
    Oil cooler
    (You should) M-Tuned coolant reroute kit

    My car liked to overheat in the summer because of the excess heat from the oil running through the CHRA

    Hope that helps!

    Ian
