    So you're completely contradicting yourself.

You sound like a 10-year-old who needs his hand held through every step of your own build. No one here will take you seriously if you can't make a decision on your own, let alone if you cave to what everyone else wants to see and do what they want.

Pick a fucking path, stick to your fucking plan, and fucking execute it. Stop with the childish antics and man up.

You're so close with your Lincoln wheels- the OEM feel that you've added is good- but it looks like you have roller skate wheels on your truck- they're too damn small. While your truck may be closer to the ground, you've essentially made it look like you've gone back to stock height with tiny tires. Sell the tires you got, and find a tire size that's close to your OEM tire size to fill out your fenders while looking lowered.

    • i thank you for your concern on my build but you need to read more into details yes i do ask opinions on stuff because most the times its just and idea but when i posted about im happy with what ive done to my truck and so on tat was because some dick head messaged me and complained about my build and shit so i confronted them openly but as ive said multiple times im working on getting everything right so i can drop it more and fill my wheel gap no i didnt ignore your advice i just sometimes wish to take my own approach on how i do MY build i'm sorry if MY build doesnt meet your standard but again its MY build so i'm going to do it how i wish and i dont mean to sound like dick head but i'm always open to all ideas , concerns, ect. just i'm not going to fully take all 100% of your advice i may still like the way i'm doing something or i like the way something is going on my build

      • If you are looking to have a nice Ranger that people will enjoy looking at, take the advice given from Beluga420. Current wheels are way too small for the truck. Go back to OEM look with tails, grille etc.

You say you're doing "your" build and doing things "your" way, and yet you do nothing without asking advice. Seriously, just do something once without asking. People will put in advice and input as you go, you don't have to ask every step of the way for directions.

I understand you're on a tight budget, and I get that not everyone has a great idea on what they're doing. So, do some research on similar builds. Get an idea of what you want to do and stick to it. Don't go scatterbrain and change your idea every other post, it gets old and no one wants to read about some kid who can't make up his mind.

          • Do what you want, its ok to ask an opinion on something, but you gotta make up your own mind sometimes. One thing I cant stand is people who do stuff to their cars/trucks just beacuse other people told them to do it. Go with what you feel.

Trust me I do personally ask beluga for his pointers on a lot of things but then again I don't want to copy his truck, it's an amazing set up I just don't want to copy everything he does and I am working on getting everything right the tails I'm going to get 2011 oem tails and the front end set up is still undecided yet so I'm trying toile progress I just taking it one step at a time and doing things in order of what matter to me most

Well I guess it's hard for ou to understand that I actually like an open mind , I don't like the my way or no way set of thinking because a lot of the time somebody else will have a better idea than me or somebody thought of an easier and cheaper way of doing something and I'm not sure about everybody but personally even if I do stumble upon a thread and I think I have a cool idea for it I won't say because a lot of people do have a set plan on their vehicle but if that person were to post that their open to ideas or whatever I'll put in my 2 cents on their ride so there is always a good posibility that threw is many other people like me and I'm just throwing it out there that I am in fact open to all ideas and thoughts

When I am sure this is how I want something done I'll stick to it, I'm not suee if u noticed but I didn't ask anybody's opinion on those tires because I have a plan for them and a lot of people are telling me there too small but there just right for what I'm doing

Ok u understand that's my are annoyed by the random pictures but I was told before to stop taking shorty pictures so I've been practicing legit photography and anytime a that I just snap a random picture that I take pride in because I think it has an improvement from the last I post it I know it's problem not the right thing to do but fuck it I'm proud because even though it may not be a food picture but you know what it's better than the lasts and it made a sort of improven so I'm happy with it dammit

Try using punctuation next time, and I might get halfway through your response.

Seriously, just pick a goal, and go for it. People will give you advice as you go. We are all like-minded people here, and we will put in our input- spamming 10 pages of "what should I do?" and "here's a random pic lol" does not make a build thread. Do stuff first, take a picture second, and post it third. Not the opposite.

You have an interesting platform. There are a dozen good examples which you can pull ideas from and twist into your own. Building a car isn't that difficult, it just takes some patients and the willingness to take a risk. No one will care if you play tiny steps like painting wheels safe, especially when you ask for an opinion every other post.

                        • ok understand where how your looking at this and i do see the wrong in which i am doing but look at it from my point of view. i'm still a freshman in highschool, just getting as far as i have i think is doing well. i know most of the stuff i do you may think it's half ass, well i'm giving it all i got and just having a build thread on stance works at my age and only being 15 years old with what i have done i am damn proud of so i'm sorry if i can't get a job so i can make money so i can get shit done faster i'm just trying to keep this fucking thread going even if that means just ranting around with you on how to make this sum bitch better. i'm going all in i'm giving it what i got and well if you don't like it well i'm sorry i didn't make this thread in hopes of pleasing you

That's what he's saying, Go with what you want, no need to ask for "approval" for every mod. It's your truck, you're spending the money for it. You don't need to update it constantly, update whenever you get something done however long it takes. My thread hasn't updated since october because I haven't changed anything, damn cold weather.

Keep going man, it's cool that you're building it while only a freshman in high school

                            • If you're 15 and in highschool, then focus on school and not bumping a thread on Stance|Works. No one cares how old you are, we're not going to baby you just because "life is hard and I'm in highschool!". Wait until you get older, and have bills to pay and responsibilities. Then you know the hardships of building anything besides debt.

I guess this is the point I'm getting at: If you don't have any big changes or updates worth noting, then just save it. Don't post. Wait until you have a meaningful post to share with everyone instead of spamming photos of an unchanged truck. People will praise you and give input as needed, instead of doing what I'm doing right now: schooling you in Meaningful Threads 101.

So what if your thread falls back a few pages? Bump it when you're ready. I have a build thread on here that hasn't been touched in months, because I'm not posting until I have something people may care to see.

I can't be more positive when I say to you: you have a solid platform. You're kind of on the right track, you just need to do a little research and pick your moves wisely and without input from others. If I asked an opinion every time I changed something on my Prelude, it wouldn't have ever happened.
