I think the new look it killer! Now just more lows and wide ass wheels
thanks man, next is lows because im working on trying to make a notch now (no pics because it looks shitty right now) but once I get that on coils shall be cut and blocks shall be put in but wheels are going to be after low, subs are finished, and fuel cell installed but it will get there
just dropped my truck off at my friends place not too long ago to get brake work done (I don't know brakes so I didn't want to mess up because brakes are pretty damn important) and I didn't give up on building my own sterio system from the bottom up...... but I sorta did because I just ordered this http://bazooka.com/products/mobile/A...ified-Tube-P41
it'll fit perfectly behind my seats and i'm pretty happy with it
Try to keep the sound system tucked away and clean. I **** it when someone shows off their "VIP" car and it's all nice leather seats with fancy ass junction produce curtains, pillows and mahogany trim around the cabin, then BAM a fucking sketchy wired subwoofer randomly thrown in there.
I know that your truck isn't exactly a vip truck, but I did that to give you a better visualization. Clean is key.
Love the progress you have been making so far, for a broke kid from North Carolina you are really kicking ass with this uncommon platform. I remember when people were giving you mad shit hahaha. I know this may sound strange, but look into LineX'ing the front bumper and grille.

Just to give you an idea of how OEM and mean it looks on another truck.
Thanks man I really apreshiate it! And it's going to be a clean setup trust me I plan on tucking it behind my seats then building some type of casing that goes over it between the seats so the faces are still open on the ends and the casing will flow between the seats so it all connects. And that bumper doesn't look too bad honestly but if I do it it'll have to wait quite a while, those subs just about broke me lol
Picked up the truck last night from my guys place, and I'm sure the people that drove behind me thought that I was trying to brake check them with how powerful my brakes felt compared to how they were before. so I know it's not really a 'cool' update but its progress on the truck so I thought it deserved to be posted, hope u guys don't mind
not much of an update but I got a new wheel for the c10 because on the wood one it was old and with the way the wood was it gunked up where I rested my hand on the wheel. I tried sanding it before but it just keeps getting worse and worse
bazooka's came in yesterday evening and I got them in that night
the wires are tucked away now I don't have a picture of it but i'm going to be making a cover for this thing anyway
amp wires hooked up
video of them hitting in a little bit

ok, before the harsh comments start up, I know it's a shitty video and it does sound a lot better in person
Didn't meant to have that get taken the wrong way... I just see too many clean to be rides get ruined with plasti-dip. I can't wait to see what this looks like with a proper set of wheels.
Granny has a point, Plastidip is a terrible thing to get addicted to, be careful. My friend garret made his yellow tiburon look like a taxicab, while thinking the 2 tone made it look fast.

Thanks man, and it's cool, trust me I can't wait to see some real wheels on here either

Thanks dude and I won't lol, I just wanted to rid of the chrome. I didn't want to jump in head first though and paint it, I will eventually paint it black but for now I'm ok with it the way it is.
ok, I know changing plans makes for a bad build and i'm not really changing plans yet but if I can find a new 3.7 cyclone v6 engine i'm going to put that in the ranger instead of the 5.0 because it has the same power with no mods and 30 mpg instead of 12-15 mpg.... plus it would be pretty badass. and i'm not saying that i'm going to go with the 3.7 because i'm sure it would be hard as hell to find one little alone pull off the swap. but if I find a 3.7 block for sale you can bet your sweet ass i'm getting it.
Just remember that an EFI engine will be much harder to wire up and run properly in a short time. What you should do is create a checklist, and go down the line.
Maybe start with creating a goal for the truck, ex: Muscle, Hot rod, VIP, caliJDM, ect.
then work on one thing at a time have it like:
VIP ranger(lolwut)
[ ]Interior(VIP, black leather interior, black headliner, black carpet, double din touch screen head unit, black leather door panels, fusa knot)
[ ]Suspension(slam the shit out of it)
[ ]Wheels(18x9/18x10 work eurolines)
[ ]Engine bay/engine(V6 or V8 engine swap, if v8 180 degree headers)
[ ]Bumpers(black)
[ ]Lights(LED interior lights, HID's, LED reverse lights, LED turn signals)
Just as an example. Making a list will help you get more mods done quickly.
So you can focus on one thing at a time and hammer it out of the way before you start another mod.
