You should affix a VW symbol on the base somewhere. Or mount it on a nice stained wood base with a Gold engraved plaque with yours Bug's name

Google maps says Nashville is 3 hours away from where I live. So in the bug, 4-5 hours since I top out around 60. I could go 65 but not for three hours. Been wanting to come down there though to go to third man records.But the bug really isn't in highway conditions haha. The farthest I've driven it is about an hour and a half away and that was pretty rough.

I just read through this, and it blows my mind that this thing is just 30 mins away. I had no idea anyone kentucky had an intrest in anything other than muscle cars and lifted trucks

Part of the reason you haven't seen me is because both times I've been to Berea or Richmond, the bug has broke. So i figured that was a sign haha. First time a wheel bearing got knocked silly and the second time, the bolt that secures the steering shaft to the steering box broke and I lost all steering pulling into a parking spot. Freaked me out.

I'm from Berea, about 45 minutes south of Lexington. And i'm only 16 and my car has a couple mechanical issues and dry rotted tires, so for one thing i can't drive out of state, even with an adult, and my car doesn't work quite right anyhow, but honestly if i could i would love to! I really need someone to tell me about cool meets and such happening around here, hahaha.

I don't really know of any meets. I doubt there is any until you get to maybe Louisville. I know of one guy in lex who has a red Scirroco and a harlequin golf. and I see a guy on campus with a new model silver GLI with rotiforms.

Mostly everything I go to is just car shows. Meaning all classic american and muscle cars. In central KY, theres not really anything else.
