get a high output alt replacement instead of the stock 55amp. little bit more money but worth it.

I probably will when i do the rebuild. There was a bug nest in the regulator and one sie of the brushes were stuck. Its all fixed now.

So my alternator stopped charging the battery. So that has to be rebuilt or replaced. No driving the bug for a while.

Finally got this fitted. Was a solid piece of brass I had left over from one of my college machining classes. Handcrafted brass extension. Turned down, drilled, threaded, and polished. Love it.
