I can easily get a door, probably even in the same color. I'm more worried about the quarter panel

Fuck, that looks pretty bad. Try to pop it out if you can, and if its not good enough look into welding it.

You can probably find a door for pretty cheap, I actually think their was one at a junkyard next to my house

Edit::just noticed the doors wasn't that bad. That can probably be fixed by any decent body shop for cheap

First let me start off by saying fuck thieves, they are possibly some of the dumbest people on earth.

Now, before I got my car, it was used to transport my uncle back and forth from here to his boat in south carolina. It sat in a parking lot there for months at a time while he was out at sea. While they were out one time, someone broke into the lot and into a lot of the cars parked there. They tried to get into mine, with a crow bar im assuming but failed. I have no idea why one would try to pry the door open vs. breaking a window, but like I said earlier, dumbest people on earth. Now what should I do here? Try to pop it most of the way out and body filler the rest? Or would it be better to have someone weld a patch? The door skin is also seperated a bit, but I can just get a new door.

Thanks danguy. I've updated the front page of this thread with a full mods list. I want to get some opinions on what I should do with the body work that the car desperately needs. I'll post some detailed pictures tonight.

Thanks guys! I'm sure I will enjoy the h22 once I get one in there. That balance shaft belt is pretty worn, but not as bad as the timing belt was. Really all of this could've been avoided if the owner before me did their maintenance on time. It was the original water pump and timing belt and the car has 175k on it.

Jesus, that balance shaft belt looks well beyond spent- the light coloration between the teeth shows how stretched it is.

Hope you get your hands on an H22 soon, you'll love having one.

Thanks! I got around to putting some air in the cylinders last night, if I did it correctly, it seems all of my valves are bent. No cylinder will hold any air pressure at all. Looks like I'll be parking the car and saving up for an H series.

Got everything down below apart tonight. Thankfully the crank pulley bolt (the part i was most dreading) came right out with my impact gun. Slid the pulley off after dropping the engine some and started pulling the lower cover. All these little silver bb's started falling out. When I got the cover all the way off I looked and it seems the bb's are the bearings from my water pump, because the pulley flops all over the place. I'm sure this is the reason for the belt failure. Oddly enough the balance shaft belt is intact and actually not bad looking hahahaha.
