cb7 accord and other random shit

  • Pulled it out of the garage for a quick wash then drove it around the block a few times. Runs perfect, but it's really loud, like deafening. So i need to get the exhaust done asafp. Also the speedo doesn't work so i need to figure that out.




    I wish I could trade my heart for an extra liver, just so I can drink more and care less.

    • Hey man, be careful with that spec stage 2. Mine seized to the pressure plate after 5k miles. I called Spec and they said they heard of the Kevlar melting and sticking. They sent me a new stage 2+ for free. The stage 2+ is a carbon hybrid plate.

      • That sucks buttholes. I'll keep an eye on it. Got my speedo working yesterday. Missed a ground when I did the wire tuck on the driver side. Still need to figure out what's up with my oil pressure sensor. But I've put about 20 miles on the car so far with no issues.

        I wish I could trade my heart for an extra liver, just so I can drink more and care less.

        • I love those wheels. They look like F40 wheels but come in 4 bolt. I may have to start hunting for a set in 4x100.

            • I'm sure the 5 lug swap is possible on the tegs. I was going to do it to my car but I like my current wheels to much.

              Got my oil pressure sensor deal straightened out and am well on my way to getting the clutch broken in. Currently I have 190 miles on the car since the swap. Runs like a champ though I still need a knock sensor and an o2 but they're both on the way. Still need to get my exhaust done as well. Been running it open header and holy shit is it loud

              I wish I could trade my heart for an extra liver, just so I can drink more and care less.

                    They fit so wheel. Tire fitment looks mint aswell. I guess if you can find the wheel you want in specs you want easy it doesn't matter so much.

                    • The blue car is my brothers. It's a pontiac perisienne on 24's. Not my cup of tea but whatever, he digs it. I do wish my front wheels were the same size as the rears. Not to much a fan of the stagger. They're only two piece so I can't change them but I got a really good deal on them and they kinda just fell into my lap. I haven't seen another set I'd like more on my car other than maybe some bbs Lm's or rs' s.

                      • Car broke down a few days ago. Went to start it when I got off work and lost power to everything. Figured out today that I lost connection between the fuse box and battery somewhere. So i put the battery back up front with some temp wiring and drove it home from my boss' s house. I'll need to trace my other power wire to figure out where the break is when I get time. Still runs great though. Hit vtec for the first time on my way home. Pulls hard. Way better than the old f series.

                          With the wheels. There are more options in sizing with the 5 stud versions. Although im not sure how common in the US they would be. Also this car is mint and makes me want a set of those wheels. badly.

                          • I have seen a bunch of them online in 5 lug and better sizes. But it'd cost me a boat load of cash just for the same wheels in better sizes. I could probably pay someone to get mine right for the same amount as a 5 lug swap and a new set of wheels.

                            • Fixed the wiring issues. Got my front lip put on. Also started working on a flush mount spoiler I got off a Renault in the junkyard. Toe arms are here and ready to put on. I bought a vafc2 and wired it in yesterday. The clutch is now officially broken in and the car sits at 534 miles since the swap. The exhaust will hopefully be getting done next week. Making steady progress here lately. I'll upload some new pictures tomorrow.
