never thought of doing it myself.... but the ones already done are $1000 a set. NO JOKEOriginally posted by rice4life View PostDamn, this thing with the smoothie bumpers, new tail lights, and an integrated spoiler on miesters would be incredible!
Have you thought about doing a projector retrofit as well?

Splitting headlights open is easy, just pop them in the oven at around 200 degrees until the sealant is soft enough to pull apart. Then just drill out where you want to put the projectors and bond them in. Just use some silicone sealant and make sure that you get a nice even line across the whole thing. Once the sealant cures over a couple of days you're good to go.Originally posted by SuperSport View Postnever thought of doing it myself.... but the ones already done are $1000 a set. NO JOKE

cause they're big, bad, and black (the good ones anyways lol)Originally posted by bckbruno View Posti fucking love these impalas, when i was a kid i used to dream about owning one, no idea why tho
thanks! I won't do a projector retro on these for a long time, if at all. Love they way they look now and I just received my HID's this afternoon. No point in wasting more money when i have a ton more to doOriginally posted by mrNitroSleeper View PostProjectors wouldn't work with oem headlights.
The stock glass has flutes and those ruin projector cutoff. Waste of time and money. Open the ones you have now, it's not rocket science.
Good looking Impala tho!

purchased a set of 3cFab Racing HD Extended & Adjustable Upper/Lower control arms for the rear. Beautiful look in that "pepsi blue"

Got them on the car, centered the wheels in the well. Looks SSlick

As you may have noticed. the car is on a trailer. WHY? Well on the way home from the install my transmission decided to break. Not only did it break, but the tail shaft housing completely blew into pieces off the car. Can't explain how much this sucks, and given that I'm moving back to Indianapolis for school in a few weeks i don't think you'll be seeing this car anymore in 2014. FML
