So I've been absent for a while now. Between moving out of state, getting a new job, getting layed off, getting another job, and then eventually moving back home to finish school, I had to sell the e28. Since then, the xB has been featured on whips & chocolate and I bought a new daily/project upon finding a new job. I ***** to sell the bmw but it was my only option of giving my wallet some cushion while I searched for another job. Here are some shots of the xB (I have added and collected new parts since this shoot) and a shot of my new project. The daily will be getting bagged. I have collected a lot of the parts to do it so far, and will be buying the rest very soon. I will continue this thread with the new project and my xB. Enjoy!

If you havent found out yet, new hardware goes for about $400. I dont see why you dont just strip the clear off them and polish them. Or get them chrome dipped. Its perfectly fine to re-use the hardware.

Also...I fucking love this thing! Makes me wanna get an e28 project car...if only I had space to park another car

The steelies are sick! What spray adhesive did you use for the door panels? Also how much fabric did you need over all and where did you order it from? I plan on doing all my panels soon. Not sure what to do them in though.
