Hello fellow members, Not really new to the scene but have mainly Just been a lurker here. I currently own a Bagged Scion xB, '82 e21, and recently purchased an '85 e28. I Love my xB and have always had a love for old BMW's. I will post a few pictures of all that I have here but this will mainly be my thread for my newly acquired e28. Thanks for checking everything out! Now on to the media......

(yeah, I know, cut springs and xxr's. But I still like it.
) And only has an original 90,000 on the clock!

And now onto the new ride. I actually purchased this one because I had someone offer me a decent amount for my e21 and was FOR SURE going to buy it.... Well, we all know how that goes. So Now I'm stuck with two old bimmers. for now.
The day I got it. Drove it 250 Miles home without an ounce of trouble.

I'm a pretty picky guy so I started gutting it and cleaning the interior, re-spraying trim pieces and grille, buffing the shit out of the neglected paint, peeling the horrible tint (not sure if factory?) and making a list of all the things I want to replace. So far I have ordered new roundels, kidney grille, a new intake hose, and it was missing the passenger's c-pillar vent cover so I had to track one of those down as well.

A little elbow grease with a scrub brush, some carpet cleaner and a shop-vac, and the interior looks and smells a TON better
I just wish it had the OG head unit in it still. The new stuff in these cars just kills it for me.

After taking the pictures, I went to pull it back in the garage and found out that my fuel pump relay somehow went bad from the time I got until now.... Luckily I have a friend working at the local O'reilly and scooped a new one up for a whopping $12. Also grabbed a new fuel filter for good measure. I still need to do an oil change, etc to make sure she's in good working order before I start driving it everywhere. Stay tuned for more updates soon!
Can't wait to get this one on the ground.
