• My shitty ass thread for my shitty ass vehicles, shitty ass stance inside.

Alright, welp tired of updating my intro thread, and basically wanted to start a build thread since winter is coming up, and we're gonna be fixing/modding a bunch of shit this winter on all of my vehiculars.

We will start with my Jooburner.

We will start with how I got it. I had been looking for a jetta coupe for years, and currently had a mk4 GTI VR6, granted, much more luxurious than a mk2, but still just not my style. I kinda enjoy older cars, from the 90's. So I ended up trading off the GTI for a truck (1998 Nissan Frontier) Pictured here (with the bike making a little cameo as well):

Now granted, the first thing i could think of when I saw this, was Ollie's truck and how sick a new gen Frontier would look blasted on some barrett racing wheels. And I fully understand the versatility of having a small truck that gets awesome gas mileage, but I was holding pocket aces.

I had went out and lined up a trade for the truck, knowing that I didnt want to give the truck thee love it deserved, which brings us here. Guy had apparently had some traffic violations, and didn't have the funds to "finish" the Jetta coupe, and wanted something a little more low key. So I did the following

Then I showed up at his house, looked the car over and I was off.

She looked like this day 1

Now pictures may say 1000 words, but I'll bring you up to speed on a few this picture left out.
Timing chains, timing guides, timing tensioners, ball joints, wheel bearing, tie rod ends, control arm bushings, cut springs.

Yeah, cobbled up suspension is probably my least favorite thing (next to wiring) to deal with on a car. So, that brings us up to speed on that one, getting the suspension sorted and the motor safe.

We have done a few little things with her up to this point,
3" chrome side exit (resonator and cat still on the exhaust)
25mm H&R spacers in the rear
Test fitted some painted MK4 monte carlos.

25mm spacers.

Wheels test fitted:

Then like a fucking dumbass, I decided to drive the car with no plates (hadn't got my out of state inspection yet, and was planning to do so the following morning) I'm retarded, and the cops thought the vr was trying to flex on their new taurus cruiser a little too hard, so they impounded the bitch.

Welp, you know what happened next.

Actually no, not really. I tucked my tail between my legs, paid the shit, and went and got my shit out of hock.

Fresh out the pen, figured i would bring her over to chill with one of her homies. (My dude mike's k04'ed b5 s4 which will likely have quite a few cameos throughout this thread, being that he is the person who owns the shop where I work on my shit at)

Plans for the winter:
Exterior:
-Paint either hibiscus red pearl or mulberry.
-4 square headlight setup (Hella DE Cat Eyes)
-MK4 Monte Carlos

Interior:
-MK3 leather with working heat (black)
-MK3 dash
-Some tunes
-Nardi or Royal wheel

Other:
-Fix all the dumb shit that's wrong with it
-Install my header
-Push it. Push it real good

So that's where we sit today on this one.

Now onto my others.
1972 Honda CB350.

Bought her, cause I didn't want to be like all the other poopdick squids round these parts and buy a gsxr 600. Fuck that noise.

[IMG][/IMG]

So here she is

Plans for her;
-A few things powdercoated (motor pieces, handlebars, etc. )
-New brakelight to supplement my tiny little led light
-Repaint the rear fender the same as the tank
-Rattle can gloss black the frame
-Quieter exhaust with black heatwrap

Now onto my main slut.

96 Probe GT

Mod list so far:
Interior:
- Panasonic headunit (one of the older chrome face deals)
-12" Kenwood sub/280w amp
-Black dyed carpet
-Red stitched RR Racing shift boot
-Black dash
-PRD rear strut bar
- Metal Kirkey race seat

Exterior:
-Wing delete (plugged for now, not sure i want to shave the hatch)
-Corksport front lip (kinda rare-ish)
-4500K HID's
-European Spec taillights

Motor:
-Stock KLDE shortblock (us spec 2.5 V6)
-KLZE heads that have been portmatched (decent flowing jap heads, with junk ass 33mm HLA's that like to collapse)
-The Prototype set of Colt Tri Flow turbo camshafts.

-Megasquirt MS1 V3.0 engine management
-KLG4 intake manifold (ported)
-Pacesetter longtube headers
-Coilpack conversion (running wasted spark)
-Fresh transmission
-ACT 6 puck unsprung disc
-Clutchmasters heavy duty PP
-Fidanza 9lb Flywheel (big change from 28lb stock dude)

Suspension:
-K sport coilovers
-Adjustable rear LCA's
-Adjustable Trailing arms
-Larger rear swaybar (reversed)

Right now she is down, tracking down issues with the megasquirt.

But the plans for her are:
Install my turbo kit
(Garrett 60-1, tial 38mm wg, greddy RS bov, Ludespeed turbo pipes with hotshot primaries, Greddy turbo timer, etc)

The day I got her:

After the first trans job I had to do on her;

A few days after that;

Kirkey:

Thanks a lot man! My riding has been real limited due to not having a helmet, but I had her out for a bit earlier tonight, and she rides good. Needs some air in the tires but otherwise, good.

I just don't get it with all the people always acting cool showing "the finger" on pictures. Why?

No idea on why people normally do the middle finger in pictures, but I can say that the person in THAT picture was likely giving the finger because he A. hates the car. And B. Hates that I love the car, and doesn't understand why I would take pictures of it.

Oh and as for the bike, idk why everyone likes it so much haha, she's really just an old thrown together bucket 'o bolts. haha I appreciate it though fellas!

Your reason is valid, kind sir!

Thanks for the love fellers! Had her out today for a real short ride, didn't really expect it to be a cold as it was. She needs air in the tires bad haha gets speed wobbles and I don't like that shit.

No pics for now unfortunately, but...

Jetta:
Changed the cluster today (was REAL fucking tired of having a completely black cluster at night, and the fact that the tach was like eleventybillion rpm's off.) So I swapped to the VR cluster, and messed with the lights and got it working, no tach though

Probe:
Sent the ECU out to NC to get tested, and hopefully repaired, and get a couple of chips so i can switch the tune up at my leisure and get some practice in on this Megasquirt bullshit. Might wire the engine back up in there tomorrow.

Bike:
Kickstart stripped the teeth on the shaft as well as the kickstart arm. So i'm welding that bitch. Also buying a new battery, and already bought an electric start switch hopefully get that rigged up tomorrow and do some well deserved riding.

Oh, and I'm going to try out some of the home PDR with duster and a heat gun on both the jetta and the bike. If I have enough duster and enough time, might fuck with the probe a little.

Pics tomorrow.

Nighty night hoez

Got a little early christmas present for myself. (And before everyone says that they won't go that low, I still have the helper spring in there, which i can take out if needed, and the car probably wont be dropped real hard all the time, cause it's going to be ready for battle with drag radials((That I scooped fo free)) on the front most of the time)

But here we are with what I have already recieved:
RSK coilovers (got really good reviews for a budget coilover)
Timing chains/guides/tensioners
Ball joints

On the way:
Valve cover gasket
Rear main seal
Prothane full suspension bushing kit
HD Strut mounts
Tie rod ends
Bfi stage 1 motor mounts

Still to order/find/buy:
Wheel bearings
Interior fabric
Seats (trying to do corrado leathers)
Back seat delete
Header
Paint
Tires for the monte carlos

Anywho, I have decided that I'm going to paint the car, still unsure on the color. Really like the army green off the xterras, or Aviator/Nimbus grey, or (for ease of coverage, and being different) this color:

With the sun on it:

We shall see, but this is going to be a full job, bay, jambs, etc...

Just a short little update on the bike too
She is down for the winter, probably ripping into it this weekend. Paint, re-wire, possibly fix the hardtail.

The probe...well, no update because i **** it.

I should have the rest of my parts right after christmas, with that being said, we still have to get my buddies Audi 4kq on the lift and do the suspension on it, then I can pull mine in and completely tear it apart haha.
