      Just for you guys though... Installed a few small things including the oil cooler setup. Need to finish tightening it down is all. Just a small list of things to complete before first startup..

      -WIRING
      -Tighten and bleed brakes
      -Tighten and bleed clutch
      -Fluids
      -Install power steering cooler (post startup)
      -Get custom power steering lines (post startup)
      -Install hydro and second set of rear calipers (post startup)
      -Exhaust (post startup)
      -Seats and Seat Brackets
      -Harness Bar
      -Harnesses
      -Dash
      -Gauges
      -NRG Hub
      -Steering wheel
      -couple small suspension pieces from PBM

      and finally the picture you've all been wanting to see lol, she looks like a beast and I honestly can not wait to finally start her up.

      • Someone over on zilvia actually said that my oil cooler was installed upside down. I honestly didnt realize that it did and I'm still not sure but just in case plus its a lot safer this way, I flipped it over and shorted both lines up. Also installed the radiator and fan today. I must say that I am extremely happy that I measured and test fitted this thing before welding up the lower support. It fits perfect and gets plenty of airflow.

              auto specific would be great honestly. I need to start googling stuff and figure out how to read diagrams and figure out how different fuses work and what size fuses are needed for what. Plus relays will be needed in some spots as well.

              • Well what are you taking on? Soldering and piecing together a whole harness? DO you know the basics like Ohm's Law, what Amperage, Voltage and Resistance are, how to solder, how electrical fields work? Wiring connectors is pretty basic for most things but there are little tricks of the trade that guys use for building a wiring harness. If you're just trying to wire lights up, supply voltage to components, or enable you ECU to read a sensor it's not too tough. Read up on soldering and what different types of flux, soldering guns, and soldering pens there are. It's not a beginner task but you most definitely don't have to be a master tech to build a wiring harness. Electronics seem a lot scarier and more difficult than they actually are. I would just learn the laws of electricity and automotive applications. Most sensors on cars that communicate with the ECU are either Power and Ground, Reference/Signal/Ground, and some other variants. It's all pretty simple for the basic stuff. If you can Roush swap an FC you can wire it up easily.

                • Relays are easy as f*ck. Here's a basic explanation of a Bosch Relay. A relay is basically a safer type of switch that uses 4 main Terminals. Terminal 85 receives 12 Volts from the battery constantly and always remember that you need to install a fuse in line between the battery and the relay here to serve as circuit protection. Its matching Terminal (86) is the ground terminal so this terminal has a wire going form it to the ground of either the battery or the car's chassis. You would usually run a switch off of the ground side in order to either open (disable) or close (enable) the circuit.For example, In a closed circuit power is flowing through terminal 85, through the windings of the relay and to terminal 86 where it is then sent to ground. The "windings" I referred to in the relay are basically a spool of copper wire that, when Voltage is transmitted through it, creates a magnetic charge. Now, there are two other main terminals on a relay that you will have to worry about when wiring a simple relay. These terminals are terminals 30 and 87. You will see one called terminal 87A but that is basically just where the flow of electricity goes when the circuit is closed so you won't have to worry about it right now. Back to terminals 30 and 87, these are going to be controlling the actual component you are trying to power. You would simply run a wire from the battery to terminal 30 which would supply it with 12 Volts and this is your power wire. Terminal 87 is you ground terminal and you will run a wire from this terminal to whatever component you are trying to power. So basically 12V battery voltage is always supplied to terminals 85 and 30 and you other two main terminals 86 and 87 (87A open) are you ground circuits. Now that you know the purposes of the terminals you need to know how they work together. So imagine inside the relay there is a little arm that swings from terminal 87 to 87A (open), this arm is controlled by magnetic force and it basically completes the circuit or opens it, disabling the component. when the 85 to 86 circuit is completed the windings inside the relay are magnetized and when they are they pull the arm which completes of disables the circuit. The main purpose of a relay over a switch is to regulate the flow of current between a circuit and device. Relay switches make the transfer of current safe, particularly if the circuit and the output device are unable to handle a direct electrical connection with the battery due to high current. If you ran a two pole switch directly off the battery you run the risk of catching it on fire or the switch going bad and that's the basics of a relay.

                    • Thanks everyone for the replies, I am literally going through wiring diagrams and trying to learn how to read them. I actually have a speedway wiring harness for the car but I am taking my time to make sure I get everything in correctly as well as cleanly. Not only do I want a running and driving car, I want to have taillights, headlights, turn signals, high beams/low beams, brake lights and hazards plus the headlight motor and wiper motor. In reality it seems like it would be pretty easy, but logically I can not wrap my head around it lol.

                      I would like the car to run off of the original key but I will have switches for a few things I think. Mainly the fuel pump and fans but possibly the headlight motor up and down and maybe the wipers as well if I cant figure it out. At this point im just trying to learn how to read these darn diagrams lol

                        easiest thing to do it trace power flow using two highlighters. One color for power and one for ground.
