yeah thats what im thinking. My engine and tranny are both a liability as it is. I think 16x8 will solve my fitment issues

Yeah, they look amazing.
Air wouldn't hurt because it will keep the car from hitting anything on the ground and weakening or cracking anything due to the weakened areas of rust.

That is why i am doing it, or heading in that direction somewhat (those renderings). I am doing everything in my power to preserve the sanctity of this gem. she is rusty no doubt, but rare nonetheless. I want it to be static, but with the roads out here, that is not really feasible. so i think some 16x8 +25 or +15 would be soooo nice and fill in my fender wells nicely.. so those Mem Fab turbos are looking pretty appealing.

I just thought it was a bumper swap and then some other goodies. Holy crap. This has to be one of the few true euro sciroccos in the US.
That makes going hoodride seem like shooting a tiger.
But those renderings in the last thread looked pretty promising though.

and actually this is an actual German car. Military guy owned it when he was stationed in Germany in the 80s and had it shipped over here

hahaha people ***** the fact that i put hoodride on the title. I am going somewhat boso with it. I am looking for some 15x8 or 16x8. I think 16x8 +15 or +25 would look killer. I am looking at some mem Fab
M technica turbo wheels or some Klutch Encore wheels. I cant wait to get them

So looking over the last few posts of the previous thread (Im still not sure why you created a whole new thread), youre going to do a Japanese bosozoku theme to this now?

Those mem fabs would be really sick.
Is this car actually imported from germany(Bought in Germany by PO and imported here?)

Remember that mk1 Scirocco? That build continues
Well I am changing the name of my build thread to continue this build. I just did my front suspension today. I am as low as i want to go on these springs. It may be hard to tell, but i am about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch shorter than I was up front. no change in ride quality, no bounce, and handles better than any miata I've ever owned. I love it. But i shall be going after some front coils here soon. If anyone has any suggestions on some MK1 front coilovers, let me know.
Prior to today
