It's been a long time since I posted here. Got a new toy to keep my busy, not sure If I should start a thread here as its 'stance' will be slightly shorter springs to keep a similar reverse rake as original

Its still a Mercedes benz, sometimes finding a parts car makes more sense if you have the room for it :S

To be honest haven't really done anything new to it except for repainting a couple of rust blisters and fixing the mirror position (done at a body shop). It should be featured in a British magazine called 'Mercedes Enthusiast' in the coming months.

I'm busy looking for a new project at the moment, its been a struggle

I speak a touch of Arabic, so I could catch just a word here and there, though Maltese definitely has that vowel-rich Siculo-Arabic sound to it. Really cool to be able to hear the history of the islands in the language itself.
The show is about motoring in general, so it features different stuff, sometimes classic car collections, car shows, drag cars and so on. I met the the producers at a charity presentation after the soap box race and they were interested in knowing more about the stuff we like, pinstriping, old vw's,slammed cars and bobbers my friends built.

You heard right, Maltese is based on Arabic, its a fairly new language as it was spoken by people for many years but rules for grammar, writing and so have been around for less than a 100 years. Its the only Semitic language that s written in Roman alphabet. I don't know other Arabic languages but when I hear Lebanese, I can understand most of it. As time goes by more words from Italian and English are becoming official.

Malta has a very colourful history, we were conquered by many larger countries/armies, and we have buildings and artifacts from every civilization that ruled. The country has been independent since the 1960's

    Here's a little more details:

Great looking car. Keeping the stock hubcaps was an excellent choice. The white wall tires are a very nice compliment to them. Good work.

A little update....I asked a buddy to do some pinstriping on the air tank. I've been wanting to do it since I installed the air ride, we just found the time now. I think he did an awesome job!

Makes sense...Its nice to have. Mine would be nicer if it ran dual compressors as the compressor kicks in quicker since all 4 bags are inflated at the same time. we ll see later

I was procrastinating to install the sensors but once I got it done and ran through the calibration its fantastic, the height settings control air finely and its cool when it airs out and lifts at the same time. You should put the extra effort and go for it, its like going from regular air ride to air ride+++. The height sensors require some thought to install right but def worth it.
