Read all 7 pages of the build and every page keeps better and better. I'm building a w115 too. Hope you could help me. With regards to the bracket spacer measurements, let's say for the front you said it's 127mm. Does the measurement include the bottom round plate (the one that attaches to the top part of the bag) and the top round plate ( the one that attaches to the top spring pocket) in the measurement? Same question for the rear brackets. Thank you!
Hi thanks for the message, the spacers height is just for the spacer without the plate, however double check with the airbags you're using. Sorry about the late reply haven't checked this forum in a long time, all my free time is taken up by the Alfa
The height of the spacers are 127mm for the front and 59mm for the back. I used slam specialties RE 6 Bags, so double check the travel of the bags you are using before making the final part. Hope this helps..

I started mocking the front mounts, trimmed the subframe and control arms not to rub against the bags. The spacer 2x2 section is just for mock up, I will replace it with pipe of large diameter to have better weight distribution. The length of the front spacers is 127mm (from Niscort's thread) but I still need to figure out the length of the rear mounts. It will be easier once the bottom end of the bags are tied down so they won't move around.
Hi mate,
it is possible to tell me the measures that stuff you did to grab the bags to make some for mine benzs?
Hi, didn't do any new mods to the car except for having some rust spots fixed and repainted. A few weeks ago it was filmed to feature in a music video. I'll post it when its out.
I have been super busy with the new Alfa Junior project:
because that car was already perfectly designed, doesnt need to be ruined, and as A4crn mentioned, the oil pans on these protrude much further than the frame. The Alfa I had wasnt low and theres a heavy metal skid plate on that car for the oil pan for a reason. The hammer head pans on these things are pretty massive for 4 cylinders. Not to mention the car is rare enough as is to destroy the suspension just for looks, but thats just me.
Agreed some smaller tyres are enough...I started collecting some parts for it and I plan to start in a couple of weeks when we have a summer break from work. I've met some really helpful local Alfa enthusiasts, one guy let me copy his rotisserie and gave me the blueprints for some laser cut body mounts for the body. I also picked up a set of flying buttress seats which were in an early 1750. The plan is to video the restoration and post the episodes on youtube so stay tuned....but don't hold your breath
Why not? If he does it correct like he did his W115 it will be amazing? Also have you ever sen a dumped step nose?

Well the first reason is the sump is below the apron,so I'd need to re-engineer the mounts etc and the second reason is these cars had incredible handling I'm sure it won't be as good as the factory meant it to be. I saw a slammed stepnose one, looked kinda funny..
