Keep on bringing her back, it's totally worth it...
That thing is sweet, glad to see some more members on here with MK1 coupes. Do I spot a Kamei hood scoop on her? Also what is that front valence deal you have there? I dig it!

I'm still debating whether I want to keep it white, or paint it a different color in the long run. We'll just have to wait and see! Thanks for the sub!

Herrow again everyone, sorry for the extreme delay of updates. Last month on the first day of my much desired winter break to shred my face off up at Mt Bachelor, I attempted a backflip off of a jersey barrier on my snowboard, I know, super hesh Sadly it resulted in my collar bone breaking in two places and me being pissed off because I can't work on my Jetta, or shred the frozen waves for a couple of months.

Some pictures of the carnage, casue you all are so interested

On the plus side I ordered a clutch the two days ago from partsgeek, it got here today! Once I am cleared by my doctor to lift over 10 pounds with my right arm again, the swap will finally begin!!

When i told Terry Sing over at OSWV about the wheels I had purchased, he suggested pulling out the rivets and replacing them with some sort of spike. I think that idea is genius! Started pulling the rivets out, a little bit of panther piss, vice grips, man strength, and all 96 rivets popped right on out.

Thinking something like this for the spikes?

I already have an ABA for it, so i'm thinking i'm going to supercharge it. I bought headers a few weeks back, so i would be back tracking if i chose the turbo route now. I know you get more power out of turbo's, but a supercharger is something a little different from the crowd, I like it.

I have to sell her in order to fund the Jetter. I've always been a Coupe fan and if i ever want another MK2 GTI there are a lot more of them out there than there are MK1 Coupes.

Thank you much, it is a nice wee project indeed
I have center caps sitting in my shed, just took them off for shits and giggles. This is what my car looks like with them on.

Sadly they're not real Borbets, they are ESM 009's. They look pretty close to the real deal, and are half the price.

Mk2 VR is decent too, Flat caps for the Borbets would be a trick touch :-)

    Look forward to your updates
