    My friend at the body shop tried a lil corner on the car and it sanded out smooth. but this was using 800 grit. I would have to do lots of sanding and in the end the paint will look wavy. He explained everything to me. so for now I'm just gonna buff it and drive until i can get it resprayed by him.

    As for the orange peel, maybe try painting a larger piece of sheet metal (like, I don't know, an old file cabinet) just like you did the car, let it peel and cure, and try sanding that and see what happens. I feel like I've seen many people wet sand metallic paint. It's worth a try at least!

    yeah it looks good from far away. Im just gonna let it cure and buff it. should look better. Plus it still looks wayyy better than the flat black

    That sucks man...it's a good 50 footer anyways.

    I really like the color. It looks nice.
