Quick search and it looks like a 5.9 Cummins tips the scale at over 1000 lbs. PowerStroke's and Duramax's are in the 800's from the one link I read.

The Powerstroke in my truck weighs in around 900 pounds. Diesels are definitely not light-weight motors!

Yeah, and fitting them in the Viper would probably be impossible. Definitely have to do dry sump and put the crank a few cm from the ground.
