what a sad purist. it's just funny to me how people seem to care about the car for no reason. It's like... I enjoy all the cars I've ever owned, but if someone else owned another, I wouldn't give half a shit what they did to theirs.

Silly purists... What he means to say is "I can't afford a Porsche AND modify it so if you do it's just stupid" People hold cars to way too high of a standard when they see modifying it as ruining it. I can't think of a single car in the world that could't benefit from modification in some way. I'll never understand it. Anyways, I love what you're doing man and I can't wait to see it all wrapped up. It's sure to be a sick nasty daily.

My hat is tipped. You said the murci is similar to the viper in maintenance, so it must be a walk in the park. I DD'd a viper for 30k miles and never had to do anything but buy tires and oil.@jroc56171' 240z, 03' CL55, 04' CayenneTT

I used to shit on everyone who dropped an ls into an rx7, I was a KrazyK unfortunately.
Then I sold my shitty excuse for an fc and now I don't give a shit
I cannot wait to see the finished project. Dropping an ls into a 911 is like dropping a 4g63t into my elantra, who the fuck cares if its not original, it's not like my car is something special, and it increases performance.

I honesty don't think it would work too well. 5.9 Cummins motors are heavier than hell and I think it would be too tall to fit under the hood. Not to mention you would have to seriously beef up the front end of the viper.Originally posted by TeckniX View PostPlease more mpg than the viper and gobs of torx.
Has anyone ctually done one?
Quick search and it looks like a 5.9 Cummins tips the scale at over 1000 lbs. PowerStroke's and Duramax's are in the 800's from the one link I read.Last edited by andybob; 12-18-2012, 10:38 AM.
