Looks great man, Glad you made the rear lower,

Fitted
I'm not liking how they look. They needed a 10mm spacer in the front to clear the brakes. 195/50s are just too meaty of a tire. Pretty much decided on going to 16x8s just not sure what wheel.
This is gonna be even slower of a build now as it no longer is my daily. I have a first gen Insight for that

Ten months since my last post, probably because nothing changed.
Well, some small things have changed.
New version Accuair sensors installed, way better than the older version (just less prone to breaking the arm)
Bought a wheel to test fit, 15x9 +36
Got a t1r in 195/45r15 to stretch on it
Bam, awesome fender on lip fitment
There was a problem though. The tire is hitting the bumper and I have shaved the bumper as much as I could. I wouldn't care as I don't drive it at that height but it makes the corner stick out and look ugly like so
It is also crazy close to my shock, but since its a twist beam I think it would be fine
The front fitment was better as the front loses track width due to suspension geometry when airing out. I just wish it would get that little bit lower to sit the fender on the lip. Subframe is on the ground so I don't think that going to happen anytime soon.
Made a cover to go over the tank that I still haven't carpeted
So I'm just trying to figure out what wheels to get.
Either going to get a 15" wheel less aggressive than the 15x9 I have. Would most likely be Work Meister S1
OR
Get 16s in specs that I can tuck like this (15x7 +26 pictured)
Options are
SSR SP3R
SSR Reverse Mesh
or Work Meister S1R/SSR SP1R. Also open to any suggestions as I don't really love any of the wheels above. Probably just need to buy a set and grow to love them.Last edited by mike410; 07-02-2014, 09:59 PM.

So I ordered wheels at the end of July. I got them the end of last week.
15x8.5 +27 SL disk, SBC finish
So I ordered them knowing they might not clear the front brakes. Nothing a small spacer couldn't fix, just had to wait till I got them to figure out what size spacer I needed. Turns out 2.5mm is what I need so I ordered a 3mm spacer.
Fitment was spot on. Glad that I can still do math
Just needed some tires, 165/55r15 Achilles is what I ended up with.
Spacer for the front hadn't arrived yet so just put the rears on for the time being.
ASS ASS ASS ASS ASS
Threw my temporary spacers on this morning (washers lol, just to get the wheels on and in the driveway for pics)
Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Just need to figure out my driving height and get an alignment and its ready for some long needed mileage.
