Wow, crazy amount of work put in thats for sure. The boxy lines on the volvo makes it so much harder to widen when compared to my MKIV.

Here are some pictures of how I made the exhaust system. Everything is made of stainless steel, welded and hand polished by me, also the final polished, it took me 2 weeks to make the exhaust system complete.



Pre-welded and ready for sanding and polishing before gloss polishing.



An example of coarse grained



Finish honed with 320 grit. So just begun to polished.



Puhhhh.....



This is also welded and polished.

Thanks for all the great feedback. =)

Posting some pictures of the restauration engine and engine compartment.

As I have said before, everything is made of stainless steel which is blank, I even polished by hand. =)

This is how it shot out right before I went to work.





then I started to make space for the Intercooler. =)





Brackets for oil cooler





So I have to build the mounts for lights





So I left welder unnecessary holes in the engine compartment.









So I start to finnish work.





Then a coat of sanding primer.



Made my own paint box. Then I painted the engine compartment itself. =)



Out in the sun. =)





So the Engine.
