I've thought about bags, but I spent a bit on this car on the performance spectrum ( I know, its still a 4 door grandaddy mobile) so I may do bags on something else, I do still have that 79-80 caprice tho...

For 2x the price of those springs you could get a bag setup together hahaha. If you get bored of your other wheels, I think style 95's would look dope on here. You should get this thing all painted up soon too.

Keep us updated man, I cannot wait to see the other wheels on here.

Glad this thread isn't dead. I saw a slammed black 300m the other day and it reminded me of this.

Here she is in her H&R dropped goodness!!

Not slammed slammed, but not quite ready to start cutting springs when I had to pay $636.51 for the set of springs that I installed lol Should be driving her as a daily within 7 days, just need tags!!

I know my rear wheels are hellasunken, should have the 18's mounted once the snow is gone

A buddy with cut had an intrepid with cut springs on 20" wheels about 15 years ago while we were working at America's Tire. It looked pretty awesome at the time.

So fitment was a bust. Need the centres bored out.

I need to rant. So here goes.

Yes I have an intrepid, probably one of the few cars that will never become associated as a status symbol, its easily pegged as being a 'grandpa hauler' the performance variants are non existent and our only tie to any kid of Motorsports is nascar.

That being said, the community surrounding these cars is soo close minded it hurts. Here I con online, yea there is some general naysayers, but more along the lines of people actually being dumb. I've lurked it all, cut control arms and using bolts as spring perch spacers, generally dumb ideas putting themselves and the lives of others at risk.

Over there? If you have an idea that differs from what they think is the right think, your wrong, every single car has to follow the same cookie cutter mods so that the only way people are different is the colour of the paint, but don't get too wild and stray from mama mopar for your paint or you will be the scum of the earth.

I don't want dual exhaust when single will do fine, I don't want leather seats that's uncomfortable as sh*t and makes you slide around when you corner, the only reason I wound up with a few of their required mods was they were in the parts car, and I bought the car cheaper than the cost of a new engine.

Yes my car will never be a scene changer, yes my car will never have a feature of its own, but I am building it my way for what I want and nobody else.

Sorry, just had to rant and thought it was doubtful that doing it here wouldn't create a stir too big
