Thanks man! I barely have the patience. It's been tough keeping motivated. I have spent a lot of money on materials so far, so anything less than perfect isn't good enough. Very tedious work though. I can't wait to be finished.Originally posted by roberto View Postbody work is incredible. wish i had the patience and skills for something like this.
great looking car. love the twists.
Thanks. Subtle is my preference. My goal has always been factory clean. It's more satisfying to when mods are noticed on second or third glance. It give more a well planned look.Originally posted by CubbyChowder View PostVery nice work, love the OEM approach to the fender modifications. You seem to have similar views as me. I'm not a fan of flashy and I like things to look subtle and OEM but still custom. Can't wait to see it painted and on the ground!
It's been a while since I looked through your thread in while, but I did see your fender work. I was impressed. I love seeing quality work like yours. I will have to check out your progress again.
Thanks to all of you for the nice words. The date for paint had to be pushed back. The guy I am renting the booth from had a death in their family, and then I will be working the next weekend. It will get sprayed the first weekend in October. The extra time will be helpful, but has made me pretty anxious.

Thanks guys! I became side tracked with a tube chassis car build... Then finally got sick of looking at this thing unfinished. Now I love it again, and can't wait to see it one color.
Thanks. Don't cast your judgment on the handles yet. I promise it will look much cleaner without the huge recess. Polished lips definitely will not happen. I don't care for flashy wheels. I don't care for the way they will look with my paint choice either. The next set of VIP wheels I buy might have polished lips . They will be more of a "special occasion" wheel. lolOriginally posted by a3 german View Postgreat work on the fenders...but imo the door handles look very bad...
about the whhels, you fave to polish the lips, then it will be perfect!
great seats too
Haha! I suppose that can be taken as a compliment, so thank you.Originally posted by mike-81-240d View PostYour attention to detail makes me so insanely jealous.Last edited by Forty-six and 2; 09-11-2013, 11:18 AM.
