I recently used pretty much your exact setup to bag a BMW Bavaria and we MIG welded everything and it turned out completely fine. The welds aren't as pretty as TIG welds would've looked, but they were plenty strong and have had no problems yet. Good luck!

Is it possible to keep oem upper strut mount instead of using the ones in the kit? or the oem ones won't be enough tough?

No you can't use the stock upper mounts, because the way the struts are design. They're only designed to be install as given. If you don't use the washers and hardware the air bag won't seal. I have the same bags, but the 75559 no adj Hi Damp
