Thanks dude that would be great. I haven't torn hers apart yet so I don't know yet what it will need.

              Updates updates updates!

              KAY UPDATE TIME

So ive been really busy with a bunch of different things so i wasnt able to work on the car much :/ one big issue was loosing my rear wheel while driving down the highway AND towing a trailer so that screwup cost me $1000...

              IMG_20121125_160236 by OFNA123, on Flickr

Now on to the car! i cut off the rear quarter and drilled my spot welds. it took about an hour, easy

              IMG_20121101_203726 by OFNA123, on Flickr

The next step took me 3 weeks. i decided to be perfect. i atempted to fix every little issue under the quarter. i would fix it and then i would **** how it looked this went on and on and on. and all i managed to do was get mad. finally i decided that this attitude went on far to long i gave up on being perfect and instead make it look as good as i could on the outside.

This new plan worked out perfectly drilled out holes for my plug welds, and with the help of my friend i mocked up the panel and welded it. BOOM and with that my 3 week ordeal was over in 15 minutes haha.

              wow my garage was disgusting...

Then i started working on my rear panel. in one night i had it all cut off. sorry for the crap pictures... new phone :/

              IMG_0015 by OFNA123, on Flickr

And today i got the panel on! it looked so good and i was so proud of it i decided to put her outside for the world to see! (and i needed to clean up the garage again...)

              IMG_0025 by OFNA123, on Flickr

              just look at that!

Hopefully ill have the other quarter on soon and then i can start on that engine. I decided im going all motor power!

yeah definitely a good decision going all motor power because motor powers would get you to go down the road fast when you have no power from regular motor lol

                Makes no sense i know

Sometimes, being a perfectionist sucks, as you would know. Haha. Good to know you're still following through with this build, looking good so far. I'm interested to see what you'll be doing with the motor. Sorry, I can't remember but are you swapping a new motor in or rebuilding the stock one?

What the hell caused your wheel to fall off??

Metal work has always scared me...I'm a perfectionist but I get frustrated and impatient easily lol. I'm gonna start soon, we'll see how ti goes...

What i think happened to the wheel was that the lugs got stretched and weakened when a guy at work put my wheels on with a impact

Good luck with the metal work! learn from my mistakes and dont be to hard on yourself, its a HUGE learning experience.

I bought an M30B34 with a 5speed im gonna tear it down and put high comp pistons in it, an Ireland engineering cam, and headers from them as well. its gonna be expensive but i want to try and do things a LITTLE different and stay away from a turbo

First off i hope everyone had a good holiday! now on to the updates...

i was getting lazy with the car i had been hanging out with the girlfriend to much. At least until she yelled at me saying that theres no progress on the car because im always with her. haha so i hunkered down and got to work.

                              IMG_0041 by OFNA123, on Flickr

I took me about 15 minutes to get this quarter off! its a lot easier once you have done it already.

Then i got to welding, its soooo much easier when you are using a auto darkening after using a fix shade the entire project haha

                              IMG_0114 by OFNA123, on Flickr

after about a week of working on it on and off i got it all on, and it took me another few days to finish up all of the little tack welds (god i **** them it takes forever)

i started my grinding and i just finished up a few minutes ago, all i have left to do is body filler and paint! I really hope that i can get this done by March 3rd for the start of chi-town meets... so list of things to do

                              -Body filler

                              -Paint (primer till next winter)

                              -Complete Euro bumpers
