they are actually really clean but the clear coat (which is getting stripped anyway) is a little meh and is giving them the thrashed look

thats the plan, i don't want t sell the seats till i get the rest of the interior the way i want so i can see if i like them still.

hoping to have the wheels on by the 14th, spacers for test fitting should be here this friday

I'm almost certain those seats are fake Recaros. I have real Recaro Speeds in my wife's car and I'm seeing quite a few differences. On the real Recaros, every piece of plastic (from seat release to side cover) has "Recaro" stamped in it.

Thats the plan but the focus of the car is the wheels and the refinishing work at the moment. and since the car came with the ultimos (with about 2k miles on them) i am going to keep them for the rest of the season but i have plans to change them for next year.

as for the seats i know they are fake, not a huge deal at the moment another thing to change over the winter, at least the mounts are quality

what's happening with the GT at the moment?
motor is FINALLY done and picking it up soon (just need to work out logistics with a hoist) i have put so much money into the motor it just isn't worth it to rush to get the car on the road for the rest of the season up here so it is going to get prepped for the spring and then put away most likely.

oh sorry i meant to post a pic of what i bought. these are not my wheels but they are the same model. these are the ones made for 1990 ZR1s and are a little different from the regular ones in that they don't have a center cap that covers the bolts. planning on white faces with a polished lip.

tires are getting pulled off the wheels tomorrow (no way i can fit the 275/45/17s on lol) order the first pair of spacers so i can get all my test fitting done.

came up with a plan for figuring out spacers that i am pretty proud of hehe. I knew i was either going to need 20mm up front and 25mm out back OR 25mm up front and 30mm out back so i figured i'll order the pair of 25mm spacers and that way if i'll have a good reference point for the other pair.

I for one love those seats, I think If you dye the rest of the interior black it would really work.

Nice fishbowl btw, makes me want to peel my 6 month old 35% off...
