JOM's are looking like a right choice, buying my set after my tune up. I got a the same sticker on your lip when I sticker'd my Integra. Are those steelies diamond racing? How's the ride being that low on the JOM's? As far as lowering the back why not try different springs or if that doesn't work, chop those?

LOL I cant help but laugh, because I had the same sticker on MY integra, and I missed it so I bought another one od those stickers. And yes they are Diamond racing. Being this low on JOMs? The coilover ride is fine, the being low part is a little nerve-racking. I scrape everywhere now, and Will probably be buying a skid plate soon. I'd like to buy better springs in the back for sure, thanks for the idea. While chopping them is another idea, I really don't want to even though they'd make that inch I want in the rear. so what are the actual sizing of your wheels and tires? you said 16x8 and 16x10. do you know offsets? also what size tires are you running.
as for lowering the rear, what you can do is remove the adjusters and just run the spring. that should drop you a fair bit. also make sure to remove any spring pads in the rear. also nothing wrong with clipping a TINY bit of spring to make up for the ride height. but use that one as a last resort. make sure you do the other things first. but a tiny bit off of the spring should be no problem. just make sure to use the bucket of water trick

Rears - 16x10 ET15
I've got the adjusters out in the back already, but I'm not sure if the spring pad's are out, so I'll check that and remove if I have them back there. Haha I know I know, I really didn't want to think about it and it really is my last resort. But I only want to clip a small amount to finish the look, it's only about an inch or so. I'd be a small cut so I might end up doing that for my last option. I'm not sure what the bucket or water trick is though. Maybe you can elaborate on that? the biggest enemy of a spring is heat. lots of people go through the trouble of cutting off 1 coil or so and technically it doesn't do anythig bad. but the heat of grinding or a cutting tortch can change the springy-ness of the spring....yes, that is the technical term.Originally posted by Sabertooth View PostI'm not sure what the bucket or water trick is though. bucket of water trick is really, just submerge the spring in a bucket of water UP TO the line you have decided to cut on. use an oxy/asc cutting torch and clip off the dead weight coils. what this does is keep the entire coil nice and cool, and it doesn't ruin the previous heat-treamtent that psrings go through
