Hi, My Name is Sabastian from Long Island, and I've got this e30.
Yeah Yeah, this is the same car you've seen over and over on these forums. But it's not, Because it's my car. I loved this POS ever since I pulled up to the previous owners house and saw it's sad self sitting there. The craigslist ad showed a Near MINT e30, I couldn't believe it. After almost buying a 2-Door 1991 325i, I thought hell, let me give it a shot.
Oh man was this Car impress me. To be honest for it's age it had the normal BS that they do, the bottom lip was taken off, and the valence was bent.
The Previous owner was very nice though, Pulled that bend, Fixed the window motor for me and within a week I had my own 1989 E30 Sedan.
It was almost (to me) too beautiful to even modify but I knew deep down that would be a short lived feeling. So I'll just get to the point and start of this build, since I've actually STARTED to build it finally. Bare with me through all the Good photo's and all the Iphone instagram pictures.
Alright, It's Picture time! Everybody gather round~
This was the car when I bought it (Still in the PO's Driveway haha):

If your wondering why I call it my piece of sh*t...It's because it's nothing but small annoying problems with it. It's like my second girlfriend. Every time I go do something with the car, I also end up hitting a wall or something like that. The radio doesn't really work either and I love my music. The glove box is broken along with various engine problems I'm working on right now. Other then that I love it to death. As I said, it didn't take me long to actually start adding small modifications. The First thing I did was pretty much Yellow bulbs (forgot the brand) and Yellow lamin-x for the Fog lights. And Just Yellow Lamin-x for the High Beams. Oh and those X's on the lights. Because I like that ish.
Here's a picture on that:

That was cool and All, and I'm glad I actually got to pay and do it myself, but I'm all about the lows. How can I be driving 4x4? The low didn't come for a bit longer then expected. Thankfully to hold me over my good friend with a slammed Sienna told me he had an old Volvo Lip (or so he says). I was way too excited to slap that on, so we pretty much just made a day out of it in his driveway. To be honest I have no idea what we did and why, I'll just let the picture explain haha.

Forgot why we took off the bumper but whatever. Bottom line is we friggin Ghetto rigged it and zip-tied the Lip to my valence. It works great though! My lips ripped off a couple times already so I'm kinda glad we didn't screw it on or anything. Oh yeah...PedalVan Asian had a Europlate and plate mount on him too, so with my thanks we slapped that on also.
My Little silver POS was getting somewhere.

Me and another fellow E30 owner at a local car meet over here.
FIANLLY....after I was able to save up enough Cash, I bought my Coilovers.
So I went over to R3vlimited where I was lurking for awhile and ordered my JOM coilovers from the group buy. Now you can ask me ANY questions you want about them, Yeah their Cheap. I'm Ballin' on a budget over here. But they're amazing for the price. They ride just ask you'd expect any over slammed ride to feel. I think...they're really the only set of coilover's I've owned so I cant really compare much. But I'm totally happy with them.
Anyways......The Installation was a different story.
I took a second to get picture's for the build thread so I'm not in any of the picture's yet btw.

That's my dude pat, thanks for the help pat! Peep what's holding up the caliper haha.

Alright so you can see I've got a lot of friends over to help/hangout right?
Yeah...were all idiot's. Not that we don't know what we're doing buuuut we are all idiots.
It literally took us from 3pm-10pm JUST for the front's. I dont know why. It just did.
Think we spend more time hangout out and being frustrated but oh well. I can promise you it's installed right though.
Another picture to explain how the day went and the after Iphone shot.
HALF-SLAMMED FTW!

The next day, we tried the rears. Less of a pain in the ass buuut still a pain in the ass.
First time I've ever done any kind of suspension job. Again very thankful for my friend that helped witht he process. Here's the rear installation picture's I have:

Thanks for the help again guys!

That night, I got this photo. One of my favorite's to date. It sat low, I was very happy.
Keep in mind thought we kept the adjusters in on the back for a few days. The car's height has now settled the the rear adjusters are out.

.....After that there were complications. The car has been off the road for nearly a month and it sucks major D but I did what I needed to do and the e30 should be coming back very soon. On the brighter side, there are thing's I've got to post teasers about. So Stay tuned!
