Swapping my +35mm rocket bunny overfenders for full quarter 50mm overfenders, going to cut the absolute shit out of the rear and get the tyre tucking.

Fronts are now hitting a lot, so I've got to get some thinner tyres in there, get it in the air and work out what's hitting.

I think your camera is zoomed in to far... Try to take pictures of the whole car...

I had no room, we were moving the cars about last night and it was raining too. Next time I go down I will take my DSLR and get some proper pictures. Work should pick up on this as I finish for Christmas on Friday, I've got two weeks off to learn to weld and get this finished and back on the road for the new year.

Haha. I like your enthusiasm. 200SX's are one of my favorite. I actually hope to own one someday soon.

              Settled.

              Compressed.

              Clearance.

Still need to drive it to make sure everything clears before I tidy the arches up. No overfenders is good.

Thanks guys. Picking up something tonight, won't post pictures until it's fitted so that it's not such a boring update. It's pretty cool though!

fenders look like anal prolapse and you need traction rods to correct the rear caster. It center your rear wheel and keep it from slowing you down when you rub and keep you from burning your paint assuming you paint this car.

I need adjustable arms anyway as I hit a curb hard a while back and I have more toe in near side now.

As for paint, yeah the arches are getting a new skim of filler an a respray. Seems like you've never tried excessive arch extension the way you talk!

My first s14 I did. Does no good for inner clearance. The current car I have I split the inner fender from the outside fender and got a much nicer pull. There is still some flare but it's not as flared as yours. Since your using filler that should help a lot with the look but I would beat it into shape as best as I could then apply a light amount filler so if it does make contact your less prone to cracking the filler. As for your arm you prolly just bent it. If its available where your at go with Powered By Max arms best bang for the buck and they also have solid subframe bushings that raise your subframe which lowered you car without effecting your suspension geometry if your about that low low life.

                                Thanks Arteeste!

This is what the other side looks like:

By the time we were finished with it, the side you quoted had settled even lower and was fouling again. But the picture here shows its final height, it clears completely under compression too so there is no problem at all.

The funniest part was having to remove the exhaust completely as the silencer was embedded in the ground For the time being we're going to sleeve a pipe section over the silencer, take an inch or so from the downpipe and adjust the backbox so that the exhaust sits a little closer to the body. In the long run it looks like we will be making a custom exhaust similar to the new ones being produced by PSM, using rectangular box section so that you have a large exhaust still, only it is wide and short.

The recommended exhaust size for a turbo of this size is 4" diameter! See here, a friend of mine is making one for a 1JZ setup:
