My first s14 I did. Does no good for inner clearance. The current car I have I split the inner fender from the outside fender and got a much nicer pull. There is still some flare but it's not as flared as yours. Since your using filler that should help a lot with the look but I would beat it into shape as best as I could then apply a light amount filler so if it does make contact your less prone to cracking the filler. As for your arm you prolly just bent it. If its available where your at go with Powered By Max arms best bang for the buck and they also have solid subframe bushings that raise your subframe which lowered you car without effecting your suspension geometry if your about that low low life.

At least with adjustable arms you are able to set the car straight even though the chassis can be buckled - A friend from Manchester went over a roundabout backwards at 60mph, wrote his car off yet still managed one last track day in it the week after, the chassis, subframes, everything were bent to hell but because of his arms they could still set the car up fine!

I have solid subframe bushes already when I bought the car, which will also reduce some travel too. My money is going on the engine at the moment as I need the get the car driving as soon as I can, but handling will be the next step - arms etc.

With the offside, the owner before me had crashed the car and had it repaired, he didn't tell me this when I bought the car! When we first went to roll the arches we discovered how much filler there was. I still need to beat the side out a bit more to get the clearance right so I will be sanding back any existing filler too to make room for the new filler. I have 50mm overfenders on the way but I don't even need them now haha!

Yeah i have had a car where the previous owner played crash dummy in it and didnt tell me(hid it very well in fact). Those are never fun to work on. Good that you have solid subframe bushings already and yeah those 50mm fenders may come in handy down the road. Never a bad idea to have an extra set if you plan on drifting. I have a full set of arms on my car just need the lowers but i have no use for any more adjustment. What coilovers are you on and what spring rates do they have?

I'm not sure on the rates. They're the original HSD CS1s I think, I can't remember for sure.

I bought the lot from somebody who had already 'converted' everything to his S14A. I'm waiting for him to post the loom as it wasn't removed when I picked the rest up, but I still need to do some work on a couple of bits such as the cut down S14 doorcards. Temporarily they have carpet in the holes, but I'm going to have to do something to tidy them up a bit!

By the time the engine is finished, it's going to be a fully forged 2.3 with at least 400bhp. A friend of a friend is making a custom inlet plenum with a top feed fuel rail, a custom manifold and he's modifying my current intercooler to fit better with the V mount setup.
