Operation gravel guard begun today. Let me just say that this stuff isn't easy to remove. After 20 + years of being stuck there, it took me over 30 min to do one side.
Got my K&N Filter that I ordered last week. It's cute and small. Hopefully it will create a lot of suction noise under the hood.
Here are some pics of the car completely aired out.

After every year in Montreal, winter seems to slowly start vanishing which means warm weather, sun, cars and broadsThese are pictures from Saturday afternoon at the shop on a beautiful day. I rolled her into the sunlight so she can finally get some sun. The color is fantastic with sun on it and can't wait to see the whole car outside.
Also got my Hood Joint placed on the rad support. It's fresh from powder coat.

Car is back in the booth getting prepared for paint. Doors are on. A few dents but very clean without any rust. I was planning on making the rad support removable but sadly it isn't possible. I'll have to have it welded.
Front windshield is out and some plastic was laid down.
Found an old personal steering at the shop that was in rough shape but the leather was still clean on it. Clean up and paint. New steering for this year.

This whole build has been amazing except I have one beef, why would you ditch a M-tech wheel for a NRG which is everywhere or even the Personal? M-techs are too common even in the BMW world. Just curious I guess. Rest of the car is beautiful though, great job so far.
