Anyway, I'm going to see if I can pick up some wheels here off the classifieds, or eBay. Saw these new gram lights 57dr's that I liked...and advan rg2's. I have no idea what I'm going to run but I'm hoping to get wheels that require fender pulling, 2 degrees of neg camber and stretched tires. Haven't done it before, so it's a bit of a learning experience for me.

Thanks! I'm the second owner @95000 original miles, original TT. Parts for this car are ridiculously expensive, this isn't a 240sx. I'm planning a few modifications that will require custom fabrication as well. This z will be one of the most cleanest ones when i'm done, that's for sure.


It's slowly taking shape, i just need to finish my interior, get wheels, the WINfactory rear spoiler, Jspec side skirts, TwinZ diffuser, repaint in stock diamond black pearl and wax it. I'm going to continue to rock my suspension as is until i get coilovers, so I might have to cut a half coil off the springs for a few months to get a bit lower for the time being.

It would have been so much nicer much more quickly if I had that old money like some folks on here do. But, i grew up poor, and i'm making up for some of my dad's debt now, so whatever. It's going to be what i want it to be really soon, and I'm sure the ones who's ****** right now will be even more pissed off that they don't have one as nice. I've been buying parts every single month and plan to continue, she does come first

I'd rather have my cheap, reliable, silly truck than your car. Want to know why? Because I just like my truck more. Simple as that. There will only be two or three people out there that will be mad because their car isn't as "nice" as yours, and they're in it for the wrong reasons. The point of modding your car isn't for the approval of dudes on the internet or others. It's about SELF EXPRESSION and originality. It's about making yourself like your own car even more. Not trying to make others like it even more. That just comes naturally if you share similar tastes.

I didn't even have you in mind as one of the ****** that hates my car, but if you do, then so be it. cheap little trucks are cool though, i wouldn't mind having one. My advice for you VicSkimmr, find a different career; inventing one in this field is probably not your strongest suit.

Let's just make this clear, the reason I went off like I did was not because he critiqued my style, which he didn't, (except in one or two comments that I did handle within my post mildly,) but because he wants to make bonehead assumptions and make me out to be someone who has no idea what he's doing. Instead of simply asking about suspension, he comes up with this fail of an assumption that I don't have anything done, or even planned for suspension, yet want an aggressive wheel fitment. I'm not mad, not once did I. I just think it's hilarious how people can be so ignorant!

I should conduct my own research, i'd love to see the reasoning behind him thinking 265/35/18's are an awful choice of tire size explicitly for BF Goodrich Gforce R1's on 18x9 wheels. LOL.

It's totally ok for you to make sweeping generalizations about the members of this community, but the second anyone infers anything about you based on your own thread you get bent out of shape.

I have no power to move my thread, Mods can move or close this thread if it's in the wrong section. I posted up a picture of my car in it's current state in the showroom section because it's a picture of my car, that i'm showing you. Then i added the other things because it's not a build thread.
