Alright first thing first yes my name is CungChow and yes I will be serving Kung Pao Chicken.

Ok now for story time: My Dad and I decided that we wanted a car to lower and I started looking at small coupes on CL for about a month, mainly older Toyotas. But my budget is pretty tight for this build so most of them were out of my price range for a decent one. Then I attended StanceWars 2012 and saw a Volvo 240 Wagon thats build is actually on this site and I had read before but didn't realize until about a month ago. I fell in love with this car and had to have one. A week later I picked up this beauty for $400!

I bought it from some sketchy guy in West Seattle and for those of you who have been there you'll understand.

The car is actually in very good condition for how it was sitting and how old it is. There are only to small dents on the body:

The interior is in pretty good shape too except for the front two seats and the carpets. I forgot to take pics of the interior when it was still in the car, but anyways here it is.

    Rear Seats:

    Driver Seat:

    Passenger Seat:

    Third Row Seats:

    They're in there somewhere!

And here is the interior now:

So from 7 seats to 0...

Some other stuff I have fixed:
The rear hatch struts were shot so I went to a PnP to get new ones. While I was there I got new license plate lights (still don't work for some reason), and a STOCK RADIO!!

Very excited about that, just need to install. Picked up some new trim pieces for the dash. Oh and I just put in a brand new rear light housing yesterday. You can see from the first pictures it is broken. I also bought new mud flaps but haven't put them on yet.

So the plan for now is get the rust fixed, straighten dents, most likely make a brand new interior, planning on black and red theme. Once that is all done I want to do a respray. Either gloss white or black and copper plate all of the chrome. Then lower on coils at first but eventually get bags when money allows.

Thanks for reading, please give any feed back or input. And this will be a very slow build since I am just starting college next month and it is an hour and a half away.

Really? I clicked preview post and the pictures were giant, so I did a test post and it shrunk the pics so I figured it was fine. And I can see them so I am not sure how to fix it.

Host them through a designated image hosting site such as Flickr, Photobucket, tinypic, etc.
