Finally got it pulled into the shop to tear down. Motor will come out shortly. Started doing some peeling action with the GF. Also picking up a MOMO hub adapter tomorrow so I can throw the Grip Royal on for pictures before I tear out the interior.

I finally installed my Grip Royal and ashtray on saturday but couldn't get good enough lighting for a nice picture of it. I also peeled all of the plastidip, besides the bumpers. Then I started to get ready to shave, tuck, and rip out the lump=)

More updates will come after Saturday. Hopefully the motor will be out, or the strut towers will be shaved from the strut mount forward.

I love your Compact, just **** it that you peeled off the PD.

What are you planing to shave in the bay?

I shaved my battery stand, ABS unit brackets (got rid of the ABS), airbox brackets and a few other little brackets. That's my project E36... on other hand my drift E36 is shaved all the way. I should post a pic.

I hope Im getting another E36 next week from my buddy for few bucks, this time it's gonna be a Compact.

Thank you. I'm shaving everything possible. Even my fuse box and ecu being relocated. I got tired of the plastidip about two months after I did it. I'm going back to black to be more subtle and classy.

                        Why not a M52?

                          Two reasons
                          1) I'm OBD1 so I would do an m/s50.
                          2) Spending the money on look good parts.

This is a form>fucntion build at the moment. I have no expectations
to make it fast any time soon. I just want it to be efficient and look good=)
That doesn't mean I won't swap it eventually, but right now the m42
                          doesn't bother me.

                            M52 OBDI conversion!

you can probably get an M52 for $300 and do the whole thing under $800 incld OBD1 conversion, you will not regret it, there's nothing better than smoking most cars on the road in a Ti.

I'll do it eventually=) I just have wheels to build, and suspension to buy. Plus the paint which will cost a good chunk.

I labelled the harness and removed a few more things Saturday, since no one could come help me yank it out. Also got a really crappy picture of my interior. I made it black and white because the picture made the wood look very bright, when it is a pretty deep cherry color.
