I would do bags, but I don't know how bags are for sliding it occasionally and some racing, because I plan on making my truck pretty fun with a turbo setup down the road.

On a couple sidenotes, the swap should start right after simply clean, I want to have it running to make it out there. Also, after the swap I'm thinking about getting some cheap Jegs steelies that are almost identical to Diamonds in 15x10 with a 4 inch backspacing. That, or Cragars. Is that overkill? Btw the wheels will be white. Here are some I've considered.

if you do stiff enough shocks in the back and put in a triangulated 4link setup for the rear then you should be able to drift nicely with bags.

i used to buy all my bag and exterior stuff from these guys long ago and this is about the same kit that i used on the nissan.

I'll definitely consider bags, I've always wanted to. It was actually a plan of mine, not sure if you seen earlier in the thread but I have a nasty C notch in the rear, haha. How much have your setups ran you in the past? Also, Fitted a front lip on 'er. Off an MKIII Golf.

i ran a 4way setup with 4-2way valves. bought the bags and valves from that site i posted and all the 1/2" dot airline and brass push fittings from NAPA. the wiring for the switches and valves i used 4wire extension cable wire, tucked it all under the carpet, it was a pretty clean setup.

10 years ago, when i did this, the whole thing cost around $1000 and i did all the fab work for the notch, bag mounts, 4link and cross members myself.

                        • Well, small update. The head was sent in the other day for a full valve job and what not, definitely needed it. The machinist said "did you get this motor from a junkyard or some shit?" Anyway just a little more part collecting and the motor comes out right after simply clean, which I'm so attending. In the meantime here is a poor quality photo of my #loweredproblems.

                            • A phone book placed between the tire and fender of a raised car. Lower it onto the phone book and bam. Your name carries some irony, haha.
