not really sure what happened to TM, I do remember seeing it on there! but early last year they stopped responding to emails & orders, must have shut their doors, and more recently took the site down. They definitely effed a lotta people over.

The only thing I really know about these is TMtuning used to sell them in the 90s. I've seen 1 other personally on a Corrado. Got myself a slightly loud set of horns from a buddy of mine.

I fixed the odometer in my cluster which hasn't worked since I bought my old MKII in 2005. So now finally I get to put some miles on it. It's been stuck at 124,499 since.
Also after reshaping, trimming, adding tilt trim and brackets to the back of the original dash from the car (which although extremely warped, is mint otherwise) I put it back in place.
That point where it starts to look like a car again...

Enter the Italvolanti "Motorsport" 16v wheel that made me pick up this motor in the first place.

just a few cracks to repair, all of them are on the back side of the grille, not too visible from the front so it should work out. thanks!

Yes I think buying a welder is worth it. But I've done it both with a old soldering gun and the welder. If its really small and you already have a gun go for it. Any plastic you can melt down will work as a filler, but you want to try and use the same plastic if you can. The reason for that is you want the piece your repairing and the filler to melt at the same rate. On your grill, do the weld from the back side. You can either just weld it up and leave it so the hair line crack still shows, or V-notch the front side out, fill, sand, paint. It just depends on how bad the crack is.

love the build, actually damaged 5th gears are pretty common cause the 020 takes 2.1 quarts of fluid. .1 being for that 5th gear housing. so when they leak the 5th gear is the first to go dry and burn up.
