The update that nobody has been waiting for!

Today I took out the helper spring on the front coils. I'm scraping and rubbing all over the place. Won't go lower until I get smaller tires.

p.s. sorry for the poor photo quality.

Thanks guys I need smaller tires... 215/45's are too beefy. I rub the fender liners at 1/8th turn, and I'm a pussy so I **** it. I will live with it for the rest of the season... next season will likely switch to 215/40's and spacing appropriately. Also, depending on how my tastes evolve, I may go for 245/35 for something square (obviously would have to roll the fronts and remove the fender liner).

winter mode is in full effect... don't mind the sunken wheels.

Anyway, installed an OE MS3 CBE. Sounds amazing... check out this high power video LOL

Nice 3 my friend. Nothing wrong with the wheel colour. Don't say you don't like something because you expect to hear bad things from others. If you like it say so, it's your ride. This is a friendly place, you won't catch much shit here. I like seeing other Mazda fans too. I've got an RX-7 and MS6. They make great cars.

Thanks man, my statement about regretting the wheel colour was tongue-in-cheek, but thanks anyway. This is a great community, I really love the vibe here

p.s. if your rx-7 ever comes up for sale, let me know haha

Tiffany any white is always a winning combo. Tons of 3's popping up here recently! If only I could get my dad on board with his speed6 lol.

Haha, NEVER! I've considered it numerous times but at this point I've sunk so much into it no one would give me what I want for it, which is just the cost of the parts. Probably less since I've forgotten all the little things I've put into it... like new mounting hardware for all the suspension arms. That stuff adds up.

small update. a little lower and 10mm spacers all around. Need to figure out how to get the rear end lower.

and here I was thinking I was being different..

I'm planning on disassembling mine in the next month or so and having them powdercoated (black or teal.. ironically) as well, any tricks that will make getting them apart any easier? Also, did you just buy RS bolts to rebuild the wheels or did you use something else?

Side note: do you still have the other grill? My stock one has always been a little messed up and would like to get one just like yours if you still have and are willing to part ways with it.
