Oh I'm on it, I've seen the kind of damage that was done to yours. The brother and I are going to be fabbing up a decent skid plate, we'll see how well that works.

I feel like the first thing you should do is, get another platform to have fun with. Keep this as your daily.

Oh, you must know so much about me.
          Please, explain your feeling.

          Seriously though.
This will be my daily. At the moment I'm driving a POS Chevy blazer. Come this Wednesday I'll be selling it for a whole 500 bucks.

I also have a 99 GMC Sierra that my wife drives and an 89 s13 that will be my "fun" car.

All I know is that they'll be 15x10. I have to make them, so the offsets are up in the air... depends on what I can fit I guess.

Exhaust is done and the car is now legal, so that's nice.
After I got that done I went and spun my coils all the way down and drove it home.

              Worst. Ride. Ever.
I seriously felt like my life was in danger... so I got to to my brothers house and started checkin' stuff out.
I was rubbing my computer (Right front fender). My rear tires were making out with the wheel wells. Hell, even the strut caps in the front got slammed up (and stuck) into my top hats.
Maybe I'm being a huge vagina and never realized how painful driving a slammed car was... but oh my god.
I was convinced that my strut mounts busted through my towers.
So, I raised the coils up ~1" on all corners and drove it home.

Anyway, any advice on what I should do to make it bearable?
Would cranking up the stiffness on my struts help with bottoming them out?

                    Eh it's a start.

I can't **** on it too much. My car looks about 10x worse, so take that as consolation.

                        Doesn't seem like it.
It drives amazing on nice smooth roads, but as soon as I hit bumps it gets nasty.

I'm confused as to how yours looks 10x worse... haha. Thanks nonetheless!!

I'm going to crank my struts stiffness up tomorrow and look into getting springs with a higher rate. I'll eventually have to tub out the rear and either; extend my rear trailing arm... or do an IRS swap. I'm leaning more towards IRS... we'll see.
                        Ooooh, all for a Cavalier.

On a side note, I got my front lip and side skirts on. The skirts look over 9000 times better than the rest of the car. I need a wash, clay bar, scrub, polish, wax and/or repaint very badly. I'll take pictures tomorrow... or something.

                          Gettin' there

Couple new pictures... ignore the time stamp.

It's an awesome feeling when you look at your car and cream a little.

I would do spacers, but they'd have to be almost 2"... I'll just deal with it until I get my steelies on.

More pictures this weekend what I have the time. Currently moving and it's been CRAZY up in here.

Welp, it's been a while, so I spose an update is in order.

Car has been running FANTASTIC, I believe I've got roughly 800 miles on her.
I definitely need stiffer springs, 375 up front and 250 in the rear just won't cut it. I'm planning on something around the 500 range, possibly higher.
Got the rear lip installed... kinda. Zip ties will do. Plan is to do 03 ls sport rear bumper eventually anyway, so no big deal.
Still needs a clay bar / buff / polish / wax REALLY bad. Just no funds to really get it done.

The brother and I started on our practice widened steelie. From what we learned doing that one, it shouldn't really be that hard.
I lied though, the steelies won't be 15x10, more like 15x8... Maybe I'll save up and get 2 10" barrels and run the 8"s up front. We'll see.

Here's some updated craptastic cell phone pictures for your eyeball pleasure/annoyance.

Will be ordering stiffer front springs soon... more low will be had. After more lows I'll be working on getting my steelies made.

So true. If I would listen to those people I would never had bought an Audi A2. Not to mention the second one after the first one got killed.
                                Keep on doing YOUR car!

Now my 2 cents: Dislike the rear but the front is promising.

                                aaaaaaaand...

                                Dat steering wheel!
