dont paint the wheels a weird color just leave it simple and clean. oh and i also like you photographs

Good choice on switching to the E46, that XB is a bit much with chrome rims (no offense). But wondering how the wheels turned out! If you take your time on painting your centers they should come out fine, I didn't prep mine at all (I was too anxious
) rattle can'd them with engine paint and they look pretty good to me. Sub'd, can't wait to see how it all turns out!

First off, sorry for the super shitty Photoshop... I just wanted to get a rough idea.
Let me know what color you think I should go with!
I plan on getting the faces painted soon!

My first car was a Saab 9-5 then when my brother became legal to drive, so I passed it down to him. Then I wanted a 2006 Scion xB 3.0 Release Series for god knows why... I had that for about a year and did little things to make it look more appealing then I recently sold and got my 323ci.Originally posted by yurotrash View PostSub'd. Why are you on your third car at only 17? Just curious.

^ Too much tuck...
I'll have to think about it! Does it come with any kind of warranty? I know ST's have a 5 year warranty and that is kind of pushing me to purchase their coilover system.Originally posted by Kielan View PostWe make a coilover option for you, comes in at 1200, but I can guarantee a better ride, with better handling aspects than the STs, and they go lower too.

When I had to go back a fix a small blemish with 1500 grit it made a noticible difference from where I used used the polishing compound and the sandpaper. I then used paint thinner to take the turtle wax off and then finished them off with Mother's Mag and Alliminum Polish.
Should I go to finer grit sandpaper to make it more mirroresque?
Once I get back from Mexico I plan on ordering some ST Suspension coilovers. Any suggestions though? I'm looking to spend about $1000 or less.

in.
looks almost as good as my in-room refinish.
vinegar is also a good alternative to coke for the bolts/nuts.

no the finer the sand paper the worse the clouding. its why you can almost always tell someone who polished at home and someone who paid a pro. one looks nice and shiny, the other looks like chrome. get a tight and loose buffing wheel and get some GOOD brown tripoli and pink or white jewelers rouge. use the tight wheel with the brown and then the loose wheel with the jewelers rouge to finish. you can stop at 800. with a quality buffing machine ive seen people stop at 600 grit.

Yeah... I wish I Could of gotten a 330ci over a 323ci but all the 330's in my area had over 120k miles and it seemed wiser to get a car with almost half that. And anyways everything is pretty much the same interior/exterior between the two cars, they just have two diffrenent engines. I don't plan on racing anyways so it is no biggie in my book.Originally posted by azncav View Postouch 323ci

I got some more pictures to post once I get home! I forgot to upload them yesterday.Originally posted by stancephil View Postsiiiick! keep us posted man!
