i have an 84 ranger.... with a flipped axle. did your single leaf make that much of a difference? like is it noticeably lower than just a flipped axle?
and im cutting my front springs this week. probably 2 coils though. i'll post pics once i get that done.

It made about a 3 to 4 inch drop, its bouncier but not bad if you replace the shocks, since you flipped the axle you should just flip the shackles, it will give you about 2 more inches of drop and if its still not low enough I'd take out 1 leaf spring. I hope this helps out, we need more slammed 1st gen's out there. Can't wait to see pics.

Sweet truck, seems like it will be hard playing with that angle in the table lol.

I always loved 1st gens a lot, but you should paint match that rusty fender to the rest and get a set of wheels, then it will be amazing.

Thanks man, I appreciate it, especially because your truck is one of the main reasons I decided to stance this damn thing and he wanted to try to play at that angle, but I told him if he broke my window he'd be buying me a new one. I ordered a set of wheels for it, now I'm just waiting for them to come in. I was thinking of stripping all the green off to get it back to red or just wait till I paint it and color match just the red part since the fender is trashed anyway.

Huhh are you really serious? I'm honored if my truck even insprired one person to do a project.. Seems like I'm really the first one that actually stanced well a ranger truck, without bagging and pûtting ugly 20 inches rims on it... Static ftw. Thanks for the compliment, I appreciate it a lot. Didn't ever even wished that my truck would be popping all over internet like this... But some people told me I would be starting a bandwagon of stanced rangers ... I actually never believed any of them..

All flat white with black dwindows like mine would be awesome on your truck... do you have raised crossmembers and radius arms? Mine are scraping everywhere without them installed. 1.5 inch of clearance to ground lol

It's well executed and changes a lot of peoples perspective on rangers as project vehicles. I knew I was going to go low, but I was going to keep the meshies on and keep it 'sensible'. I plan on getting the new radius arm locators to get that extra half an inch of suspension travel and lower it another inch or so in the front, but I'll probably stick with the stock crossmember to keep shooting sparks on the highway, ROFL.

Do you have esp? My d-windows will be here today. I'm going to take test fit pics as soon as they get here.

My new rims got here, I went with a set of 15x10 -38 (4inch backspacing) Bart racing offroad d-windows. I figured for 200 bucks for all for brand new and that people use them on off road vehicles that they could take the abuse of daily use, on to the pics! I plan on a either a 195/50 or 205/50 in the front and a 205/60 or 205/65 in the rear.(forgive the zip ties, I tore the fender yesterday coming home and decided to try and keep it from traveling)

and turtle (he went swimming in my flooded drive way, gotta love the Florida rainy season.)

I can't wait either, I'm going to hit up some tire shops up this week to find some decent used tires.

HUmmm seems like mine really is your inspiration! Exact same wheels with same offset, except mine are 16 inches. Are you going to repaint the truck? If so which color? And you gotta turbo it

Their good and cheap, my favorite kind of rims, lol. I was thinking flat black while I do all the body work and Nissan black mocha and get the centers of these or what ever wheels I end up with bronze or a dark gold. I'm more then likely going to stay na, but I have a plan brewing up for individual carbs before the end of the year (have the carbs, just need to get an intake manifold from the junk yard to start hacking up/modifying and finish all the calculations on how much fuel each cylinder requires). I've just gotta get a good clear day to actually get some work done.

They where 243.11 new with new lug nuts and shipping, 23 for the lugs and 12 for shipping so about 208 for all four.
