Battery relocation would make a huge difference. Cant wait to see the next update.

So I was going to just install a Weber 32/36 which is a downdraft... what that means is that I could have used the stock air cleaner that I just powdercoated. Well, in a trade I came up with a set of these with manifold:

I have plans to keep it going on the same path aesthetically as I had originally planned, but this deal was way too good to pass up.

I also did some minor cleaning and installed some new NGK wires and plugs to freshen the ignition up a bit:

No matter how much I clean up the bay, the battery/starter area still ruins it. I really need to focus on that area to get the rest of it up to par.

Thanks man! Its going to stay mint green for sure as I have found the perfect color to respray it once it gets to that point. Its Nissan 'Silver Green Metallic,' with paint code FG0.

Here is the little bit of progress I have made:

Ok, was suppose to be done yesterday, but whatever... Ill let the pics do the talking:

Yeah, it's possible. I'd have to use a few different steel wools and then finish it up with some Never Dull or polishing compound. Easy, but time consuming.

Rad looks good I like the patina style. Is there any way you could polish it?

Haha sweet! Yeah I spent a week in Perth last year... Was awesome as it was St. Patricks day. Spent the night in Rosie O'Gradys. Good times. That picture above was actually part of the drunken walk back to our hotel room... Hence the inappropriate statue molestation (sorry about that).

I think that gorgeous minty color is what makes the car.

Oh ok... Now I understand. I get a lot of people telling me to paint the car haha

Well, the other items I had in the oven are done so now it's just the waiting game until I install more freshly powder coated pieces.
