    Aha! Your 240sx thread.

A bit disappointed at first about you changing your 3KGT back to stock, but then I realized it was actually a VR4 so I understand why the change lol.

exactly! if it was an SL it'd be a lot easier haha someday i'll be a skilled enough mechanic to do one up properly, and my intentions are to make a track/drift car outta one someday. i hope i can achieve that goal, but for now i decided to simplify and get a 240 because the aftermarket is huge, and they're so much easier to work on.

sorry for the bad iphone pics, i'm currently in ireland. if anyone from ireland knows of any meets this weekend i'd be interested in meeting up with some local guys! i'm in cellebridge, seen a few decent cars around here. i went to a scrapyard in Kilcock today looking for my 180sx tail lights, no luck though

oh and i haven't gotten tires for my racing harts yet so i threw the varrstoens up just for fun. i don't feel like messing with my front fenders too much so i won't be running them, they poke too much. finally had my rear fenders pulled by a loca kid. i'm waiting on my skid plate, my turbo from getting rebuilt and my header from getting re tig welded. i can't get any lower than this until i can afford to get my exhaust tucked, but i'm hoping to have the car running again for a local drifting event next friday. i just rolled it outside for some pics, i'm really happy with the way it looks now tbh

learned how to weld and make rust patches tonight.

not terrible for my first time i'd say, it's behind the exhaust anyways so it won't be seen which is a good location to fix up now anyways. i'll have my new pressure plate for my clutch tomorrow and the tranny will be in tomorrow night. then i just gotta throw my freshly rebuilt turbo in, new cooling lines and my re welded header. pretty pumped to get it on the ground finally. this will be my first semi low car and i'll hopefully get to drift at the local event august 10th. got too busy with work and whatnot so i'll have some good pictures this weekend hopefully

and there's my dad. i think he's just using my cars to learn more about turbo's so his turbo pinto project comes out quicker than my car lol :p

1st drift event was successful. i actually did pretty dang good for not having an ebrake, had that course down after like 3 runs

and i met Boris Said at Watkins Glen this weekend, fuckin sweet. my uncle knows the france family so we scored some free hot pit/garage passes for the weekend. i met a ton of cool drivers and people like roger penskie (spelling?), joey logano, scott pruitt, jeff gordon, juan pablo montoya and his son/wife. it was a dope weekend to say the least.

sucked about a quarter of my front lip under the car trying to get into this girls stupid rock driveway, ripped out a few screws so i'm officially into the ziptie thing lol i'd rather the lip fall off and the zipties break rather than see if fold up like that again, it's amazing how strong that thing is, was folded up like a pretzel and it looks mintttt.

can't go lower till i tuck my wires up front. dont wanna rub harness at all. it'll look sick though once i get my blast pipes, dmax tails and have it slammed on the rpf's
