Its been awhile since I had my DA but I remember my dead pedal looking the same as his and mine was factory installed. But I'm old and my memory is foggy so I could be way wrong.

This is how I took it out of the CRX. I don't think it would fit the other way either.

Nah, I gotcha. I mean, my car was an auto... and I've literally never seen the inside of another ED (besides the autos in yards). Maybe all manuals came with them... Like I said, my car is the only ED in my entire area that has a complete interior and isn't some Monster Energy drinking shocker sticker flat brimmed hat kid's "whip"

People have been telling me that for a longgg time. Should I? I mean... it seems like it would be super annoying not being able to adjust your feet on the pedal if you have pressure on it?

Don't be. This has gotta suck. This was a big part of my problem with having a Honda: love the cars, **** most of the clientele that comes along with 'em. Jackass next to me at light revs stock d series with Maxwell House coffee can headache inducing exhaust, trying to incite a "race". "Yo, my boy got a...." That's lovely, but don't care what your boy got.

Actually, I get that in the Volkswagen too. I like to holler "JDM!" at them. Not always a wise move.

Either way, I know exactly what you're saying and it's a shame. The fact that you're doing what you're doing, lone wolf style and not loading up on crap from the Pep Boys circular is awesome.
