Well thanks, Chris! That was awful nice.

Okay... I have some sort of bad news... I lost one of the centers to my wheels. If you know ANYONE AT ALL with one of these centers please please tell me. As you can imagine they are hard to find. The wheels were made by Carroll Shelby and this is what the caps look like.

    I am desperate. Help me.

    • Hey thanks, Stu! I'm going to keep looking until I find the proper ones though. Because even if I did find the right ones now I'd never have them in time for H2Oi. Thanks a bunch though, man!

Also omg look what I found. Also from 2009. What a year...

Awesome, man! I must have missed you. I'm guessing you were in the car in your sig?

H2Oi was so freaking awesome. That was my first time ever. Will be back next year.

Definitely a much different crowd than I'm used to.

Anyway, this is cool... I made it there and back and only used two tanks of fuel the entire time. That maths out to ~30mpg in an 11 second car. COOL.

Also I cracked my trans open when I got down there. Lame.

But one of the guys staying with us had a welder which was super cool and he was able to weld up a good bit of it. Some JB from Wal-Mart stopped the rest of the leak.

Also also I've done a good bit of work on the car since the last update but I don't have a camera right now so I have no pictures. I promise I haven't been sitting on my hands...

            Keep it rill, behb.

            • Alrighty. So I have here probably the only two pictures of my car at H2O. Brace yourselves.

This first one was taken literally within seconds of me getting there. I cracked my transmission case on 139th street so I was able to drive the car to 140th where we were staying.

And then here's a roller my friend Spencer took. I hadn't washed the car in a couple weeks and the 8 hour trip didn't help so don't judge me. (this was taken on the way to the car wash though)

Friend of ours luckily always carries stupid amounts of nice welding equipment in his car, so he welded most of it up then Micah went and applied JB weld about 5 times.

                        Then h2o.

Are you going to go to Gatebil without me as well?

                        • Yep. Like Stu said, most of it was welded and then JB sealed up what was still leaking. I'm so thankful it was repairable enough to cruise around and get home.

Right now the car is sitting at my house all raised up from the drive home and I haven't touched it.

I found a transmission locally for $20 that I'm picking up Friday. Then the car will probably sit as is all winter and into next year until I have time to work on it. But basically it's done for the season. *cries*
